New American restaurant and bar that is inspired by the agricultural and coastal traditions and bounty of Virginia. Lemaire delivers the quality and service The Jefferson Hotel is known for, but in an accessible format without the pretense, formality or expense!

Complimentary self-parking is available in both the Adams Street and Main Street lots. Valet parking is $18/car

For special requests (cake, flowers, etc) guests must contact Lemaire directly.

Tables are held for 15 minutes.

Separate checks are not available for parties of six or more. A 20% gratuity will automatically be applies for parties of six or more.

Table/seating requests are noted but not guaranteed.

    Great food and service. Really enjoyed the Caesar Salad, Macaroni and Cheese, Sea Scallops, and Chocolate Gateau.

    Beautifully decorated for a romantic Thanksgiving dinner for two. From the valet to our server, employees were friendly and attentive. Food and wine were good. We really enjoyed our first dining experience there and will be back.

    Absolutely amazing Thanksgiving meal. I had the pre fix, my husband ordered off the al a carte menu, every course was delicious.

    Only our second time here, but both were for our Anniversary. Excellent food and atmosphere. Staff was very attentive and helped make our evening special. If you are looking for a nice evening out, take your special someone here.

    I had a great dinner at Lemaire! I was celebrating my birthday, and they gave me a menu that had Happy Birthday written on it, as well as some free champagne. My server Sara was super kind and helpful, and the food was so great! I would definitely recommend.

    LeMaire was wonderful! My dining companion and I were attending an event at the Carpenter Center and running late for our reservation. We called ahead and were accommodated upon arrival. The restaurant advised by signage that they were working on improvements, and when we entered our dining area it was apparent. Once seated we were fine, thanks to our server Dave. We let him know we were trying to make a curtain and made sure our order was priority level. LeMaire and The Jefferson are a step back in time to fine dining and artistry of food presentation and artwork on the walls. Each room was as if you were sitting in someone's personal dining room. Our food and drinks were wonderful. We would love to return!
