We came for our 4th anniversary tonight. From being greeted and made to feel welcome to a beautiful table overlooking the city. Our dinner was outstanding and a very good value. Appetizer was delicious and Burnt Almond Torte was excellent. We enjoyed our dinner in a very relaxed environment with no rush to leave. Will definitely be back

We recently had a top notch dining experience at the LeMont after having enjoyed an afternoon PSO concert with our four grandchildren. The staff's attentiveness was superior in all aspects. For example, upon our arrival, our grandchildren were greeted with four Shirley Temple drinks. Impressive and appreciated! Next, our hungry bunch was presented with some yummy potstickers. We then ordered a grilled shrimp appetizer which was colossal in size and taste. Four of us ordered from the fine dining menu. My salmon was moist and well seasoned. My husband's sea bass was "delectable." Our two grandsons enjoyed filet mignon and truffle fries which they devoured. Our two young granddaughters were nicely accommodated with chicken tenders and fries. Everything was prepared to perfection including the creme brûlée and chocolate mousse cake that followed our memorable meal. Enhancing this special dining experience was the spectacular view as we watched night fall over Pittsburgh and delighted in the lighted buildings, bridges, and rivers. We will return soon to LeMont, a long-standing great restaurant in our city.

Honestly disappointed. The food was mediocre: I got the sea bass, which tasted good, but it was a small size for the price. The vegetable medley (carrots, Brussel sprouts, and broccoli) was completely undercooked and difficult to chew. The server was nice but was unhappy when we decided not to order alcohol with our dinner. If you are looking for a better overall experience, go to Altius, a 2-minute walk away. The one redeeming quality about this restaurant was the view it offers. I would never frequent this place again.

Great experience, from the valet, coat check and maître d' to the bar, view and food. Live music was something we didn’t expect and it was great! Also, a beautiful restaurant design, inside and out!

Absolutely delicious meal. Would definitely return. My only complaint is that we were placed at a table that felt like it was an afterthought. But since the meal was perfect, and it was clearly a full restaurant, I could not complain.

The view is the clear star of the show. The food does not match the view, and it just wasn’t good. Of all four of our meals, the highlights were the potatoes and the ice cream. The bill was over $400, which I would happily pay for stand out food. I knew it was old school going in, but I didn’t think it would be as mediocre as it was. It’s a shame- with a view like that.

I brought my sister and niece to celebrate . My nieces birthday and my sister and I 3 year anniversary since we found out we were sisters . I wanted to give them a wow fine dining experience . We were greeted by Tony ( very nice ) greeted right away with water service. Then we just sat for about 10 min or so before waiter came by . Was not offered cocktail or wine menu I had to ask for them . When he came back with cocktails he asked if we wanted to start with an app. When I asked for the Brie and apple chutney he said rudely is that all ! Never went over special just plainly asked if we were ready to order. I had to ask for the special. Waygu Strip steak is what I was told very plainly. No description! I asked where the Waygu was from. He replied its just American Waygu . Made me not want to consider the special . I love Waygu ! All 4 of us got a cocktail We had an app. Each of us had a first course , entree, enhancements , 2 sides( lobster risotto was amazing) and desserts . We were asked at the end of our dinner if we were celebrating anything. Should of been asked at the beginning. But what made me mad was we were called dudes ! He did bring us desserts for our celebration ( very nice ) I come in with family at least 2 times a year ! We loved the Thanksgiving brunch and definitely won’t stop coming in but this was not a great experience for spending 100.00 a head for dinner . Just because 4 ladies come in for dinner does not mean we are not gonna spend money . With Tip it was a 500.00 night and it was just a blah experience.

Don our waiter was amazing. He prepared my husband’s Cesar salad and he loved it. If you get Caesar salad I would request him. I got some Cajun pasta dish that was out of this world! The views were great and the atmosphere was classy yet laid back. They made it a very enjoyable experience.

Very overpriced for the quality of the food. My wife and I had two small appetizers, two entrees with sides, and split one desert. And each had one glass of wine which. The bill was $290. Over $350 with the tip. As insane as $350 is for dinner out for 2 people, if the food was amazing, maybe we'd be a little more ok with it. The 2 appetizers were just mediocre. My wife's steak was very under seasoned and didn't have much flavor at all. my strip steak was very tough even though I had it cooked at medium rare. And the flavor was just ok. The vegetable sides that came with the dinner were barely even warm and again had little flavor. Nothing came out hot. We had a side of French fries and Mac and cheese which both also came out barely warm. This was surprising given that the restaurant wasn't all that busy that night. Given the extremely high price and very mediocre, luke warm food, we won't be coming back again.

We had an excellent experience at the Le Mont. We had some family coming in from NY and we noted that with the reservation. From upon greeting as we entered to the time we left we were checked on regularly to ensure our family from NY was enjoying the view, meal and atmosphere. Food was excellent as well adding to the experience....First-rate.
