Located in the heart of South Boston, Lincoln is a classic American tavern that offers guests a welcoming combination of home-spun, American fare alongside a wide variety of rustic, wood-fire-grilled specialties.

Built with the intention of being a comfortable meeting spot for locals looking to share stories at the end of their long day, Lincoln draws inspiration from it’s surrounding, hard-working, and uniquely American neighborhood.

Revitalizing a nearly forgotten West Broadway space that at one time housed the area’s only department store, Lincoln feels nostalgic. It’s open-air, tiled-floor cafe, grande bar, and soaring, original tin ceilings remind us of a time when dining halls and supper clubs were a way of life.

    We had reservations on a Sunday. The restaurant was crowded and we waited about 15 minutes past our reservation until a table opened up. We started with the Goat cheese dip a little disappointing the sourdough bread tasted like it was heated in the microwave. The dip was heavy on the Jam and light on the goat cheese so was like dipping in hot jam. In spite of the busy time we were served in a timely manner. The wait service was excellent she checked in at the table frequently. Both Salads were good and other main course was served hot. I would recommend a reservation !

    Shayne was amazing! Noticed we were having date night and have a complimentary glass of champagne. Food was so outstanding and couldn’t asked for a better Saturday night out!

    Made a reservation for 6pm. Received call to confirm. Arrived on time and waited 30 minutes to be seated which made us rush since we had tickets for a show. Waitress didnt write down our order and tried to remember it all (why?) and missed my drink. Food was average. Ambience was quite nice. I realize it was a busy Friday night but the whole point of the reservation is to have a table ready or close to ready.

    We met my son, who lives in Southie, to celebrate a birthday. The place was decorated for Christmas and we got sit under all the ornaments. It was very pretty. The food and service were very good. I would recommend this restaurant.

    We visited this restaurant on a Saturday night for dinner. We arrived about 20 minutes before our reservation, but they kindly accommodated us early. The bar was quite lively with a lot of people drinking and socializing. If you prefer a quieter atmosphere, you might want to avoid going here on a Saturday night. The entire restaurant was festively decorated with a large Christmas tree and wreaths throughout. The service was excellent, and our waitress was very attentive. The food was a bit pricey, but still delicious. We ordered the Lincoln burger ($17) and the sausage and burrata pappardelle ($25). Overall, it was a great place, and I highly recommend trying it out.
