The name Hapa is derived from the Hawaiian term that describes a harmonious blend of Asian and American cultures. Like our name, our food reflects this dynamic combination. The menu is based on traditional Japanese cooking fundamentals which are then amplified, muted, or mixed with influences from many different styles of cooking until they are something completely new: they're Hapa. We have stretched the boundaries of creativity to develop dishes that defy all the rules while holding true to our roots. We hope you will find our menu innovative, uninhibited, and distinctly fun!

Shishito peppers were the best I've had. The fried chicken wings were not seasoned at all. It could have used salt or be brined before frying but I did enjoy the crunch. The service was wonderful and the Geisha teardrop cocktail I ordered was delicious!

Our experience was great, as usual. We especially loved the tuna poke with taro cake! The veggie potstickers were wonderful, as were the avocado rolls. The beef carpaccio was a really special dish ... hadn't ever tasted anything like it; delish!

The sushi is always great. Service was as needed, not overly in our face. Perfect for our group. The attention to the needs of people with allergies is wonderful. They have GF Tamari, which is awesome. I usually carry individual packets with me but sometimes I’m out. Never a concern at Hapa. Love it there.

Hapa Sushi is some of the best sushi we’ve had in Denver! The food is always amazing and fresh, and the staff is so kind and welcoming. We had a wonderful date night and loved the atmosphere. Next time, we’d love to sit at the sushi bar—it looks fantastic! The LoDo location is neat and conveniently located, and we take the train in to Union Station and walk around for a bit. Can’t wait to come back!

Being seated next to the fireplace in the main dining room on a cold, snowy day is always enjoyable. West 29th reminds so much of cozy country inns in Europe. Adan and the remainder of the small wait staff were delightful, attentive and responsive, even when things got busy. They covered for each other very well. Unlike the other times we have dined there, the food was not outstanding. The Caesar Salad was very mildly seasoned, without that little garlicky kick we've come to expect. We did appreciate that the kitchen split it for usl The salmon was cooked well-done as my spouse prefers and the smally potatoes, that accompanied it, actually tasted sweet. Unfortunately, the Gorgonzola Beef Stroganoff was a flop for me. The dish I"ve enjoyed so many times is supposed to be a dish with tender pieces of meat, accompanied by noodles in a flavorful sauce...NOT a pasta dish in a creamy cheese sauce with half a dozen little chunks of tough beef, hidden under the noodles. Maybe the plentiful and very tasty mushrooms were suppose to make up for the lack and toughness of the meat, but that didn't work for me First really disappointing dish we've had there. We'll surely return, but will more wary when ordering.

We had a book signing event going on concurrently, and that kept the servers hopping, but they did a nice job tag-teaming us, and assured that we had everything we needed. Menu is, in a word, eclectic. Picked this restaurant because we occasionally enjoy dinner as a 'grazing' event with multiple small dishes, and the Passenger delivers on that with a variety of interesting small portions.

Coming Soon to Governor's Park Neighborhood!

Mexican food that is wild-at-heart. At Wild Taco Denver our curiosity gets the best of us. Traditional Mexican fare, with delicious classic tacos at its core, flavored with the unexpected in our dining and cocktail programs. Located in the heart of the new pedestrian-only block on 7th, between Grant St. and Sherman St., our lively outdoor patio is as much of the experience as our indoor dining room, featuring community high tops perfect for socializing. Wild Taco is the fun, casual and memorable Mexican food neighborhood go-to.

I always love Osaka, either for dining in or to go on a cold night. Their ramen is tasty and their menu is simple. I like really spicy ramen, so this is my go-to place. If you're looking for an appetizer, try the green beans or tofu.

Mid afternoon meal and was overall a good spot to satisfy my sushi craving. Not even knowing I came in after 3pm which was happy hour. Never been in a sushi restaurant like this but they explained and it is very easy to understand the concept and pricing structure. Will come back

The conveyor belt dishes are anywhere from $1.5 to $4 and Chef Osaka keeps them small on purpose. That way, diners are able to try all they want without having to commit to a full roll, or breaking the bank. There’s even more options from the kitchen.

When asked about bringing the conveyor belt sushi concept to Denver, Osaka remarked that he thought it would be a great new way of dining for young, hip guests. The main issues with other conveyor belt sushi concepts have been the quality of the food and the self-service nature of the experience, and that’s no problem for Sushi-Rama on either level. We’ve got a full-service wait staff and our fish is sourced from the same places that the highest dollar sushi restaurants in Denver get their supply and is imported directly from Japan. The difference is that the high tech prep and delivery methods of Sushi-Rama allow us to keep costs down and quality up.

Modern Mexican with an American twist. Barbed Wire Reef incorporates the best of classic Mexican dishes, that the brother and sister owners, Rico and Flor Aragon, grew up loving in Mexico, adapted with American taste in mind, making the menu both crave-worthy and one-of-a-kind at the same time. The design was inspired by the two’s childhood and continued extensive travels back to Mexico. Ceramic oversized tiles behind the back bar emphasize the architecture found throughout Mexico City. The lush vegetation growing inside the restaurant and throughout the patio, remind guests of a modern resort stay in Tulum. Hospitality is at the core of the brand, the mission is to create an experience you would have in Mexico, dining at someone’s home with a gracious host.

It was a little bit warm on the patio due to radiant heat coming off the fencing. Other than that, it was wonderful.
