I cannot say enough positive things about this experience. The food was absolutely delicious - every bite contained a burst of flavour. It is hard to believe such small bites contained so much flavour and decadence, but each course amazed us. Our sever and sommelier were incredibly knowledgeable and pleasant. It was an incredible experience that I recommend everyone try. As we were celebrating my birthday, I was even presented with a special birthday treat. A night to remember.

It was a really romantic Valentine’s Day dinner. The pre-fix dinner was delicious and they accommodated our food intolerances (dairy and gluten). The beet salad minus the ricotta cheese lacked flavor but was better with some salt and pepper. Otherwise the food was delicious and the ambiance very cool. Thank you!

Had been wanting to try this restaurant for some time and Winterlicious seemed like the perfect opportunity. The 3 course lunch menu was divine- lots of choice, food impeccably prepared. Service was great with water glasses filled before you downed them and waiter and maitre'd super friendly. Great value, great meal, great spot.

This was a great experience! We loved the food and the service was amazing! They even added a little sweet treat at the end of the evening along with a bubbly to toast. The only thing that I can think of is that my potatoes could have done with a bit more salt. Overall, a great night out!

Went on a Thursday night for dinner. Perfect dinner night with family. Good food, server was friendly and awesome service. You have to try the mussels! The broth was the dagger!!! Will definitely recommend for a good dinner out.

This is the best restaurant that I have ever dined in. Beef tenderloin was the best dish I have ever tasted; everything about it was amazing. Even though it says 4 course meals together it was about 9, so keep that in mind if you’re ordering the 7 course one. They even gave a pumpkin cake to enjoy for the next day. Service was also best of the best. Even though Canada doesn’t follow the Michelin guide this is probably a 2-star Michelin restaurant if you’re looking for a comparison. Please do me a favour and come to Eden!!!

My only complaint is that the server tells you that you only have 2 hours to complete your meal, which is more than enough, but does not help one relax. I realize that profits are realized through turnover, but still, let's adapt the European way of dining and relax.

We had a wonderful experience at Giulietta. We sat at the counters in front of the chefs and the head chef greeted us very kindly and with great suggestions. Housed in two of Vancouver’s most iconic buildings, Homer St Cafe and Bar is a contemporary restaurant set in the base of the historic Homer Building and the Beasley building in Vancouver’s Yaletown district.
Classic comfort cooking takes center stage thanks to a fire engine red rotisserie that roasts all manner of proteins. It’s chicken that’s the star here: served in quarter, half or whole portions, accompanied by classic sides basted in jus.

Located in historic Gastown between Gaoler's Mews and Blood Alley, built in the 19th century on the site of Vancouver's first jail and originally buttressed to the city's main butchery and meat packing district, the name L'Abattoir pays homage to the neighbourhood's colourful past. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Gastown, so I looked forward to showing my SIL this place. As my SIL was still recovering from a bout of diverticulitis, I didn’t order a bottle of wine. I had two wines by the glass, and we shared a few dishes. We started with their fabulous bread service, then a Dungeness Crab salad, an Artichoke tart and their Terrine of Fois Gras. Our “main” was their Agnolotti. I had a glass of 2022 Garnier et Fils Chablis with the salads and a glass of 2016 Synchromesh Pinot Noir from Storm Haven Vineyard in Okanagan Falls, BC with foie gras and agnolotti. The Artichoke Tart was half salad, half egg custard tart with pieces of artichoke between the two. It was a light, refreshing dish. The Dungeness Crab Salad was a visual surprise … the crab was placed between thin slices of radish and decorated with green leaves. It was interesting; perhaps a little too subtle in flavor for me. The foie gras terrine came with two thick pieces of brioche. The square of terrine was decorated with squares of wine jelly, and cherry halves. The terrine was soft and silky and the brioche so buttery. The star of the evening was the Sweet Corn Agnolotti. Pillows of mascarpone pasta were covered with pieces of sweet corn and a generous helping of sliced black truffle. This dish was “to die for” and I wanted to order a second plate. I love the food at L’Abattoir and dine here every time I come to Vancouver.

Service was on point. Friendly staff and even changed out one the items on the Valentine’s menu that I am allergic to. They were extremely fast with topping up water and clearing dishes from each course. Highly recommend this establishment and will be back soon.

Loved it. Staff is SUPER friendly and always looking after your well-being. They separated our salad into separate dishes knowing that we were sharing (without our request) and had the tongs ready to go to share our pastas. The pasta portions were large and definitely worth it. Affogato to finish!

Our first time at this restaurant. We had heard so much positive that we had it on our to do list. What a treat! We had a table overlooking the water. Food was phenomenal and our server, Christine, was the perfect server. We had the calamari, followed by Spicy Kaisen Udon and Traditional Sushi Lunch. The cheesecake was beautiful and delicious. We highly recommend this gem to all. It’s not easily accessible for the handicapped but a team member escorted us to the restricted access elevator.

Overall it was a great night. Food came out slow but they were slammed all at once and the waiter Sunny proved to be a real professional. We were 15 minutes early to our reservation but the host greeted us and sat us right away without hesitation. Shonin was our server. He did a great job explaining the features and sold us on the burrata with hot honey and crackers. Must try! Did the La Familia tasting menu and the servings were very generous. We didn’t know which wine to select to have for dinner and the sommelier came by and gave us 3 recommendations - he was very knowledgeable about each wine he selected. Loved all the options the chef made for our dinner. Kudos to Shonin and the team!

This is my third time at Pigeonhole, and it does not disappoint. The food is outstanding - some of my personal faves are the charred cabbage, the mushroom croquettes and the warm maple cake. So so good! The service is also incredible, very friendly and personable staff, and a cozy ambience to top it all off. I highly recommend this spot!

We love it here! This was our second time, a year later and the menu has been taken to the next level! The bison carpaccio was unreal! From the drinks, to the oysters and meals, oh and the tirrimisu was to die for!... everything was spot on perfect. We can't wait to be back again!

Absolutely outstanding! We were there for Valentine’s Day and the 3 course meal was fantastic! We had the beef and tuna tartare appetizer and it was the best tartare my husband and I have had. The same for the melt in your mouth entree, Chateau Briand. Top tier, cooked perfectly. And the dessert was literally one of the best we’ve had in our dining experience. The Baked Alaska was just divine and a fabulous way to end the night. Couple that with lovely service and it is definitely a place we can’t wait to go back to!

That place was insanely good. I had one of the best meals ever there. I cannot believe how GOOD that bacon is. Did the feed me option sharing 8 different dishes with my GF, 5-6 glasses of wine and it only came out to 240$ with 25% tip! Cannot get that value anywhere else. The staff is extremely friendly and the chef is GODLIKE. Every single dish was a smashing hit and I will definitely be going back with friends. Thank you Tzin for a great experience, you guys are the best for a reason!

Always love this vin room in the front or upstairs. Near the kitchen a bit brighter not my favourite spot. Service is great and food is good too. They’re able to make a few adjustments for gluten-free for sure which is always great.

Parking is free and easy if you park under the hotel and ask your server for a validation. We were seated quickly and asked about allergies, which were repeated back to us in confirmation and I appreciated that. Our server Amanda was warm and very attentive. The carpaccio and tartare were excellent starters followed by the duck and sablefish as mains. All excellent. We ordered a side of asparagus with no dressing on it and loved that too. Dessert was a chocolate bar with berries and (I think) yuzu snow which was excellent as well. Overall fantastic experience and will be returning on our next trip.

In September 2021, Gyoza Bar introduced ABURI To-Go, a grocery concept featuring Japanese meal kits, ready-to-eat items, snacks, frozen imported seafood, and authentic Japanese vegan cuisine called SHOJIN conveniently located inside Gyoza Bar.
