Dante is an Italian pizzeria in the Shops of Legacy strip mall. Its specialty is wood-fired pizza made with fresh ingredients. Its chef, Nick Strawhecker, has created a variety of pizza recipes including its Roberta (with spicy meatballs and breadcrumbs), funghi rosso (with mushrooms and garlic), and white pizzas (with olive oil and no tomato sauce). Pasta dishes like rigatoni bolognese and spaghetti cacio e pepe are also on its menu. Dante's has a wide selection of Italian wines, beers, cocktails, and non-alcoholic spritzers and mocktails. This restaurant is chef-owned and operated. Chef Nick Strawhecker opened Dante's in 2009.

Pizza was very good, Squid Ink pasta was good, Osso Bucco was very good and the Ricotta Honeycomb app was excellent! Service was very good ambiance could be improved with more space between tables.

The hostess had read my reservation note asking to be seated by the rundown and graciously complied. Our server, Armando, was fabulous! His recommendations for food and wine were excellent. My spouse had a ribeye, which was delicious, but pricey!

Its chef, Anthony Kueper, is a native of Omaha who has lived and cooked in popular tourist towns including Aspen, Colorado. Some of its dishes include a patty melt sandwich with caramelized onions served on focaccia bread, a pork belly salad and duck breast served with pickled grapes, carrots and kale. This has got to be the most amazing dining experience I have had in Omaha. This little restaurant was spot on with service. We had the Chef's Dinner which was a 6 course meal, and paired it with the premium wines. It was amazing. Every course was picture perfect and the flavor combinations were amazing. It is hard to say which course was the best. We started with the Raw Oysters with a vinaigrette with apple pieces (amazing), then the scallop with soy, and wasabi puree (so flavorful). The Duck had to be the hit of the night. The wines paired with the meal were spot on. I would highly suggest that you let the Chef take you on this culinary journey. I will be back!

Possibly the best steaks in Omaha and that’s saying something. You get what you pay for with prime beef, so it’s not cheap but it is a dining experience every steak-lover should enjoy at least once!

We had a great experience tonight celebrating my son‘s 16th birthday. Waitress was really great and handled our group of nine with ease. The food was really amazing.
