From the moment we walked into the historic venue, the setting was perfect – beautifully decorated with gothic accents, flickering candles, and just the right amount of eerie vibes to get you in the Halloween spirit. You could feel the history of the building, which only added to the whole ghostly charm! The tea selection was fantastic, with a variety of flavors that catered to every taste, from classic Earl Grey to a Peaches and Cream blend. The food was where the experience truly shined – each tier of goodies was as delightful as it was spooky. The sandwiches and desserts were crafted with care, and the flavours were rich, fresh, and perfectly balanced. Special shout-out to the scones, which were a wild ride for my tastebuds! Cheese and pumpkin?! Ube and white chocolate?! How do they come up with this? Every single bite was delicious and they even catered to my gluten free diet! The staff really got into the theme, too, adding a fun and playful element to the experience. They shared stories of the Old Mill's "haunted history," which was a great touch and made everything feel authentic. Overall, it was such a cool event that perfectly captured the spooky season while delivering an elevated, gourmet high tea experience. The food was excellent as always. I had the fish and chips, two pieces, the fish was so big. I couldn’t even eat the fries. My father had wings and they were delicious and he asked me to find out where they buy them from because they were huge. My mother had the crab croissant, and she was impressed that it seemed to be real crab meat as opposed to flavoured Pollock. It was my 40th birthday lunch and they treated me with a glass of Prosecco! We’re Here at least once a month and we love it.

We had the sharing menu which offered a number of dips, hot and cold appetizers, main and dessert. Loads of food for our group and a perfect mix. Our server was lovely as well as the host. Very attentive and helpful. Only issue was that they were sold out of some of the wine we wanted but we understand that to be a supplier issue. Overall I would definitely return. And plan to try their Oakville location also!

As a group (8 persons) we enjoyed our culinary experience from the rubbing of the rosemary in our palms to the specialty cart cocktail served at our table and every single dish served.
