We had a fantastic birthday celebration for our friend Becky. Happy hour drinks and food were amazing and then we split a couple of entrees and sides. The bone in ribeye steak was amazing, cooked medium rare. Perfection. The truffle Mac and cheese was great. Eddie V's is consistently the best place to go for both group events and couples.

Inspired by long days on the Gulf, late nights on the ranch and the colorful creations of our abuela, our family's Kitchen & Cantina showcases the rich foods and traditions we grew up with on both sides of the border.

Nothing matches the flavor of food grilled over mesquite. Try wood-fired Texas quail swaddled in homemade tortillas, jalapeno rellanos stuffed with house-made chorizo and sizzling, family-style parrilladas - huge mixed platters of wild game and fresh vegetables, topped with pico de gallo and queso fresco - a unique spin on Houston barbeque.

Our days begin roasting chilies and tomatoes, rolling fresh tortillas in our bakery and wringing every last drop of Ruby Red grapefruit for cocktails. We hand-grind our own sausage and hand-trim every ounce of meat in our butchery, then anoint it with the savory seasonings and marinades we've honed over generations.

A few margaritas on our patio and you've found your new casa sweet casa.

We gathered here for a Christmas celebration. We were welcomed in right away. The atmosphere was great. A little loud but that is expected in the holidays. The clam chowder was served nice and warm and was delicious. Their bread was good. Their sea bass is not to be missed. Their lobster risotto was excellent. Their Halibut was very fresh. It appears that this restaurant prides themselves on fresh ingredients and it shows through their food. The owner checked on us during our dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you for such a great evening. We will return.

We love melting pot. Has been a destination for many of our special dinners. Since the chain left California, we always search it out when we travel. The Houston location was great. When owner Johnny Carrabba set out on his next restaurant venture, he knew his vision would include the fond memories he had of his dear grandmother Grace Mandola. Grace, also known to the family as Mama, was a Sicilian woman born to immigrant parents in Louisiana. She had a flair for cooking, hospitality, and deep faith.

She was known to make bread from scratch every Saturday for her legendary three-hour Sicilian Sunday lunches; and, her newly established family roots in Louisiana added interesting flavors to her home cooked meals. The entire Mandola family, including her five children and fourteen grandchildren, was regularly greeted in her home with smells of warm bread, well brewed sauces and homemade soups. It was around her table that her family learned the true meaning and value of relationships, friendships and good food.

Last night, my husband, a steak connoisseur, and I enjoyed a fantastic dinner at Mastro's. It was a pleasure to have the chef Erasmo come out and allow him to select his steak. The food was excellent! Excellent quality! Cooked Perfectly and served in a timely manner. My wife ordered Steak & Lobster (steamed) I had Steak & Lobster(grilled). Both were excellent! The only complaint I have is the fact that everything else is a la carte. $$$ even more than I could have guessed.

James Beard semi-finalist for Best Chef Texas and Top Chef Season 19 judge Kiran Verma, considered the ‘godmother of Indian fine dining,’ has created world-class north Indian cuisine at her eponymous restaurant. Come and enjoy good food and great service in a fabulous environment.

Signature dishes include rack of lamb with aloo methi, Chilean sea bass with mango chutney, chicken tikka masala and a vegetarian thali. Specialty cocktails range from the Jahangir Lassi (house-infused pineapple rum, passion fruit, mango lassi, pistachio) to a Chai Old Fashioned to a Cardamom Basil Gin & Tonic.

The restaurant serves Afternoon Tea every Friday, Saturday and Sunday - a four-course Indian and English tea experience. Chef Kiran has created her own chai blend.

My sisters and I dined at Churrascos for the first time to do try out the restaurant and exchange Christmas gifts. Although a little pricey, we were pleasantly surprised at the variety of food on the brunch buffet. We were expecting to order only from the menu, but really enjoyed the taste of buffet items. The food was well seasoned and refilled frequently. Our server was very pleasant and accommodating.

I truly love this restaurant! Great vibes, food is amazing, love that I can get smaller portions on some of the anazing dishes! Braised short rib was amazing, and the truffle stiffed chicken got rave reviews. Capped off with a half-baked choc chip cookie a la mode! Lovely evening!
