Our menus are refreshingly honest, simple and uncomplicated; we serve brilliant steaks and top-notch seafood and our daily specials are second-to-none. We’ve got a great selection of wines and our bar is stocked with locally-sourced ales, continental beers and small batch spirits. There's a great cocktail list too!

The restaurant itself offers the perfect mix of old and new… original features, period charm and the only remaining thatched roof in Weston-super-Mare, combined with a laid-back atmosphere and a really-very-cool, beach-facing terrace area complete with glowing fire pits.

The Boatman, is Windsor’s only pub on the river at the foot of Windsor Castle overlooking Eton Bridge. Serving freshly cooked food all day everyday from midday to 9pm at night, in the cosy bar, restaurant or in the stunning riverside all-weather conservatory, there is a fine selection of wine, ales, cocktails to choose from.
The bar area and terrace is dog friendly, we cannot accept any pets in the conservatory or restaurant.

Fabulous food - the fish pie is really gorgeous and is very popular. The staff are all fantastic - welcoming, warm and very helpful. Atmosphere of the building is cosy and the beams are fantastic although ducking may be required in places! A walk down the pontoon to look at the river and watch the wildlife is a must, even in chilly weather. Car park spaces are limited but everyone seems to manage fine!

Super food, service, drinks & view. We were a table of 5 with a dog and we tried a verity of offerings from the menu, all were excellent. Staff were very friendly and accommodating from the moment we walked through the door. Will certainly be recommending and visiting again.

We were treated to this meal by our son. We found everywhere clean and welcoming. The staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. There was a good choice on the menu. The meal was excellent the food was hot and very well presented. It was cooked freshly but we didn't have to wait too long. We both had scallops perfectly cooked. My husband had steak which again was cooked to his liking and I had chicken. We had desserts creme brulee for my husband I had chocolate torte delicious very rich maybe a smaller portion would have been acceptable. The Bluebell overall was a great experience

We’ve eaten at Rocksalt, Folkestone, now five times and each time we have not been disappointed with either the service, food or staff. Today’s lunchtime service was the busiest we’ve ever seen it, due to it being half term, which we’d forgotten about when we booked last night! Though noticed the increase in price and removal of glass of wine which was previously offered, shame… Nice touch at the end to celebrate special occasion so we were grateful for that. Staff was very professional and attentive. I would actually say they were Too Attentive with topping up water, asking multiple times if the food was good etc. We had to stop our conversations multiple times and it felt quite invasive. I know it was with good intentions but would suggest on calming it down a bit. Ambience as always very special.

Absolutely wonderful as always, the food was brilliant and everyone who served us was lovely. They also put a candle in my husbands dessert for his birthday, which I really appreciated. However, they absolutely need to do something about the toilets. In the middle of a cold, wet, winters evening it’s really unpleasant needing to go outside into the mud to go to the toilet in a shed in the garden centre. In 2016 the Old School BBQ was born, using a freshly imported 1982 Bluebird International American school bus from Arizona as a mobile kitchen.

The bus was converted from a traditional seated bus to a fully functional kitchen, with smokers and griddles to cook low and slow BBQ food. The OSB journey had begun, trading from humble beginnings on a local pub car park in Failsworth.

Our little yellow bus soon became a familiar landmark and we became more and more popular with lunch goers who wanted freshly prepared, appetising food served with a smile. Soon demand meant that we would be more often than not greeting our customers with a "sold out" sign, so it was time to expand.

So here we are, with a covered seated area serving our firm favourites, complemented with a fully licenced bar and WC facilities... did we mention the stage? That's right, we also provide live music from various acts from near and far - we are sure you will find our eatery to be like no other!

Rocky Bottoms started out as an 1800s brick kiln with a purpose to fire bricks. Eventually the brick kiln was unable to compete with larger competitors and closed down after WW2. Since this time the brick kiln has offered itself as agricultural storage until it collapsed and stood derelict.

In 2008 the brick kiln’s potential and need of restoration was spotted by local fishing family; The Matthews. After years of love and attention, Rocky Bottoms, as we know it today was born. This is the second time we have been to this lovely pub. The food is excellent not your usual pub grub. A varied and well thought out menu Great service and lovely friendly atmosphere. I had the seafood stew with chorizo which was wonderful. Mu husband had the lentil curry which he really enjoyed Coffee machine wasn't working but we were going on to Sheringham so no problem.

We had a brilliant evening, celebrating my partner's 50th birthday. There were five of us in total, including our 11yr old son and 8yr old twin daughters. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating or more attentive and were there frequently checking in to see if we were okay. In fact, I would say the service was exceptional. The setting was stunning. In an outside, heated pod overlooking the river...perfect! The food was delicious and although slightly more expensive than we would usually pay, it did not seem extortionate and the plates of food were well presented and enjoyed by everyone.

Following a major refurbishment in Autumn 2014 under the new ownership, Sally and Dave pride themselves on offering fresh, local, homemade food every day from 9am to 9pm.

Whilst the food, service and overall experience was as fabulous as ever, it is very disappointing that the menu no longer contains as many gluten-free dishes as it used to. Our daughter is coeliac, so discovering the Shepherd and Dog a while ago, with its extensive selection of gluten-free dishes, immediately made it our favourite go-to venue for a family meal. We have visited many times since, always thankful that we have found somewhere warm, friendly and offering our daughter a far greater choice than the majority of pubs and restaurants. In a world where there is still scant choice of eateries for coeliacs, we sincerely hope that the current menu is adapted once more, to allow us to continue treating the Shepherd and Dog as our top destination for great food.

The only thing I felt was wrong was that there was only one ladies toilet. I went with my husband and a couple of friends for a lunch time catch up. Ambience, service and quality of food was good and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

The Pub with its oak beams and two inglenook fireplaces proffers a warm and cosy atmosphere in the winter, whilst our terrace is perfect to enjoy a drink and food in the summer months. Being a free house we pride ourselves in the quality of our real ale, and concentrate on local breweries, such as Harvey's of Lewes and other micro breweries. Going to rural pubs in Yorkshire and being a vegetarian is a hard one. It’s often very similar food and it all comes down to the cooking of it. Tremendous gnocchi, wonderful focaccia for starter and delicious choux pastry (I’ve not had choux that well made in years). My partner wanted about 5 onion crumpets to eat and thoroughly enjoyed the duck as well. Enjoyed by both. Ambience was lovely, venue was lovely, brilliant and friendly service.

This is the second time of visiting, absolutely outstanding food. I came with a friend who had never been before and we both had the prawn tacos, she said they were the best prawns she had ever had, that goes for me too. Bringing my hubby next time

First time we have dined here and the four of us thought the food was amazing. Portion size just right, but nobody had room for a desert. The restaurant was busy, but it was lunchtime and York was very busy due to the sun shining. Jade looked after us extremely well and is a credit to the restaurant. We will return at some point in the future

The Crathorne Arms is a great pub in a wonderful community spirited village, lovely people, Lord Crathorne himself couldn’t be more supportive, how lucky we are.

Our life has come a full circle from a town pub in Middlesbrough (well Eugene has) to the tontine (McCoys Hotel, Restaurant and Bistro) to a village pub in Crathorne, Ten Minutes from Middlesbrough.

We live above the pub, our furniture and furnishings live downstairs as they can’t and won’t fit up the stairs! So the canoe has the condiments, the bookcases our books, the huge sofa with big squashy cushions to sink into, tin lanterns reflecting patterns on the ceiling, this all makes for a homely feel and that’s what we would like to create along with good wholesome food and drink.

Of Course the staff, front of house and kitchen are all great, hardworking, smiley, enthusiastic young people and a joy to work with.
