We had a wonderful birthday get-together for my daughter. Starting with 1/2 price oysters (amazing) and spicy squid, on to mussels, fish and chips (so large!) and butter chicken nachos. Loved the choices for cocktails - especially "mock tails" which tasted just like the real thing. Ambiance was great- I don't know our server's name, but she was very attentive without hovering and honestly, was just so switched on. We will be back - have found my new favourite place!

We stopped in Magog on our way from Quebec City and Alessa Tratoria had been recommended by family and they were correct. This was a modern design with plenty of light and an open kitchen. The was easy conversation because it wasn’t loud the service was prompt and efficient and the food was fabulous. Four of us had different entrees and everyone was raving. The wine 🍷 list was extensive as well. The Alessa Tratoria is an excellent restaurant

A very busy & noisy lunch time experience ….but all was great …service and food was excellent …I had 3 guests and one more at the last minute, and they all enjoyed it very much …staff was accommodating for an extra chair at the table. Well done !

A nice time with mom, we both had the filet mignon, nice meat and the side purée went so good with the steak. it had been over five years since my last visit and so it was nice to come back. They have a nice sized menu with plenty of different options. Definitely would be a great place to bring a date; or spend a relaxing evening out. The atmosphere is very chill and the vibe is calm yet warm. My only disappointment was not having the free buns they use to serve, those were amazing and the variety was delightfully. I could only suggest that Making reservations is a must!

Came for brunch and left wondering why we don’t come for brunch every week! Everything was incredibly delicious and beautifully presented. Why anyone would go anywhere else for brunch I do not know. Absolutely top notch food and at a really good price for such a beautiful place. Next level. Just go! I had the waffles this time and can’t wait to go back and work my way through everything else on the menu. It goes without saying that the view and the building are stunning too. Thanks for an exceptional experience.

The service was outstanding, attentive but not intrusive. For instance, our coats were taken to a cloak room and brought back to us after our meal, the wobbly table was fixed instantly and the bread basket was replenished without having to ask! The menu has all the traditional offerings of a French bistro and each of us enjoyed the meals we were served. The charcuteries were particularly excellent. The meals were cooked as requested (steak, rognons, fish and boudin) and served on heated plates. We tried the private label wine (red) and found it quite good as well. Overall we had a lovely evening and one of the best restaurant experiences in a while. We will be back! Thank you!

Service and food/drink start to finish was amazing! There was a mix up in my order and it was quickly resolved, no troubles! I really appreciate their friendliness, chatter, efficient work. Tables can be small for ordering big things, can get crowded! But love the look and feel of the space. It’s busy and feels close to others, but we were able to still really enjoy our time, food and conversations.

We went to Glo for an early Christmas Eve dinner and it was lovely. The ambiance in the restaurant for the season was beautiful. Our waiter was knowledgeable and very personable. There were three of us, all ordering a different entree and all three were very good and beautifully presented. We all ordered dessert and they too were delicious. I personally ordered the bread pudding and it was the best I have ever tasted - I am still talking about that bread pudding! All in all it was exactly the experience we had hoped to have for Christmas Eve.

My group of 5 had a greatlunch at Heminways on Christmas Day. The place was super busy but the staff were all friendly and the food was served up in a timely manner. It is a simple menu but the food is really tasty and excellently priced. This was our first time at Hemingways but we will definitely go back. Can't wait to try the patio in the summer.

We love Home Block. The ambience is perfect, the staff are always very attentive - we had Stephanie who was so knowledgeable and engaging. We had the calamari and burrata to start… as usual, did not disappoint. I had the branzino which was underwhelming - no flavour whatsoever. My husband and son at the Bavette (steak). It was going to be served medium rare but my husband asked for medium. Our son enjoyed his ‘as is’ but it was too rare from a texture standpoint. But that’s us. We had the desserts to go but did share the chocolate mousse which was divine. Will definitely be back!

We loved our Christmas dinner. The Prix Fixe Dinner Menu - lamb shank and tiger shrimp Fettuccine were great! My daughter loved her huge cheese burger from kid's menu. The fries were delicious. Escargot and Filet Mignon were fantastic! Services and the view were excellent as usual.

The Mic Mac Bar & Grill is a family-owned business that began in 1963. At that time, all of the meals were made by the owner’s wife who, incidentally, started off with no experience.

By 1966, Mic Mac Bar & Grill had become a local watering hole for men, but ladies arrived on the scene in 1974. The Mic Mac Beverage Room has become famous for its delicious home-cooked meals, especially its steaks, and provides excellent dining in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

The air from the front doors just shoot down the main aisle and made it very cold The food was ok, one person had scallops and they were a over cooked same with the fries and the French onion soup not enough cheese. Although our server of the evening was awesome.

We attended the long table Christmas Eve dinner. Food was excellent. I wasn’t fond of the goose, however the duck was good. Roasted vegetables, potatoes, and dessert were excellent. A very nice evening. Very nice wine pairings. Will return to try the regular menu.

It's always a real treat to come to Rapscallion, as it's my favourite restaurant in the city. The staff went above and beyond for my partner's birthday, and everyone was so warm and inviting. Your host at the door is always always my favourite person who's smiling face and attention to detail is second to absolutely NONE in the Hammer. I was gifted a copy of your recipe book that I've been coveting, because the food at Rap is beyond delicious - as both a French and Italian immigrant, the flavours truly remind me of home, and also appreciate the extensive mocktail and non-alcoholic beverage selections, as that's always a disappointing part missing from so many experiences dining out. I really love you guys. I keep coming back again and again throughout the years because you make the every day extraordinary, and there's none that compare to the quality of food and service, the atmosphere and beautiful vibes, anywhere in the Hamilton area. I ordered the fetaccine Alfredo and my husband ordered the winter salad with blackened chicken. We were very pleased with our meals. Tasty, fresh, and filling. The staff were attentive. Even at night the view across the lake was stunning. We will be back again and again.

I’ve been dining at Spencer’s for close to 15 years and we chose this as the location for our Christmas Eve family dinner. Our server Brad was top notch, food was hot, delicious and beautifully presented. The restaurant was full but not noisy and the ambience was fantastic. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

My sister and I always celebrate "Christmas Eve, Eve". This year, we were gifted a dinner at Gaspar. What a treat! The restaurant was so beautiful, with its stone walls and beautiful artwork. We were greeted at the front door by staff who quickly helped us remove our coats, which is rare in Montreal. Our waiter was superb...just the right amount of attention. The food was extraordinary! From the Foie Gras pate and Bison tartar appetizers, to the Beef Cheeks and Filet Mignon, you can't go wrong. I will definitely come back!

My daughter has a food allergy and they were extremely careful and in fact asked snout it before we brought it up. This made the evening more enjoyable as we did not have to worry about her. Also each of our orders was excellent. In ordered a rare steak and they got it right. As a former restaurant cook I know what rare should look like and often doesn’t, this was perfect.

We just moved to the area and wanted to have a date night. Our first experience here was nothing but great. Service was great I believe our servers name was Tommy. Me and my girlfriend decided to try things we wouldn't normally order at a restaurant and we were NOT disappointed. Every bite was great! While the restaurant was extremely busy, the staff did a great job and all service was quite timely. All the appetizers and entrees were terrific. The coconut cream pie special (which we all had for dessert) was disappointing as it was sorely lacking in flavour.

Treadwell offers indoor dining and outdoor dining on our enclosed and heated patio. We are open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

During the Fall and Winter months, dinner reservations are available on Monday thru Thursday from 5pm to 730pm. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, we offer two seatings - between 5pm and 6pm; as well as between 745pm and 8:45pm (with each table allocated 2hr 30min). Please note that our menu for dinner is a multi-course, prix fixe menu ($115 per guest).

Lunch reservations are available between 11:30am and 2pm, with our lunch a la carte menu being offered. Breakfast is served between 8am and 10am

The Valley Restaurant brings a European feel to Niagara dining. The menu includes veal, seafood, steak, a variety of pasta dishes including gnocchi, lasagne, ravioli. There is a full cocktail menu and fabulous wine list including local and imported selections. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with a large fireplace, intimate tables, white linen tablecloths and impeccable service.

We always have an amazing meal here. We try to visit at least twice a year. Our server, Cathy, is delightful and explains the pairings at each course. Food is amazing. Wine is incredible. Even the "server helper" (sorry! Didn't get a name!!) is attentive and professional. Even laughing at my jokes, politely lol. It is such a treat to come here. We are fans!!!
