Our food and drinks came at a moderate time. Our entire party didn’t show up till 10 minutes after our reservation, though we did have a friend hold down the table and order our drinks prior our arrival. The food came out nice and hot and delicious. The ambience is very nice (tad cold though, wear sleeves), saw the table next to ours get a cute little fondue. Great location and happy hour is a great bang for your buck. The only downside was it was quite hard to track down our server. Wasn’t too attentive. Although few times she did come by she came with a smile :)

We were here for our anniversary and we were treated so special. From the moment we were treated at the door till we left, we were tended to like VIP. We were also offered sparkling wine on rye house, which was definitely appreciated. We are planing on going back here for New Year’s Eve. The staff was very friendly.

Our party of 4 visited during Happy Hour on a Friday. We started with calamari and Fanny Bay west coast oysters & immediately ordered more! So delicious! Our main courses were fish tacos, seafood linguine, & coconut mussels. With wine and cocktails. Everything was great! Topped it all off with yummy desserts. Our server was FANTASTIC and you can’t beat the location, looking out at English Bay! Would definitely recommend and we all said we would love to return. .

Opened in 1986 by Uli Blume, it was one of White Rock's original waterfront restaurants and quickly became a favourite among locals for its great food and friendly atmosphere. My mom and I have been dining at Uli’s for years and always have a good experience. Food and service are usually good. Today our server was exceptional. Emma B was the best server I’ve not only had at Uli’s but in general, in a long time. She was helpful and attentive without being overbearing, warm, chatty and clearly knowledgeable and fond of the place she worked. She cares and it’s evident from how she engaged with us and the other guests. Bravo Emma, I hope this review makes its way to you and your superiors and that you receive the recognition and appreciation that you deserve.
