First time here and ex hospitality professional so I'm fussy. The Food was fantastic and the wine pairing spot on. I would recommend the beef to share. I found the tables a little tight so opted for the bar top in front of the kitchen which provided more atmosphere.

64 Goodge Street is a new restaurant from Woodhead Restaurant Group, which opened in early August 2023. A former travel agent in our beloved Fitzrovia (64’s older siblings Portland and Clipstone are just round the corner), we were hugely excited by the opportunity this blank slate of a site afforded us.

We’ve been able to build from the bottom up, and therefore design every inch of space to meet our hope for 64 Goodge Street. Namely, that it is a space in which guests feel utterly taken care of.

We are open Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner. We very much hope to see you soon.

Four of us really enjoyed our experience at 64 Goodge Street. In London, it can be 'hit and miss' in my experience, but this place was first class. Each course of food was well cooked, good ingredients and super tasty. Service was friendly and prompt, without being pushy. Wine perfect. What more can you ask? Highly recommended.

This is the first time we visited this restaurant and it far exceeded its 4.2 star rating on trip advisor. We were served by a waiter called Abdul and he was simply brilliant. The menu was simple and the food was great. We visited the restaurant early before the theatre and it was a little quiet at first, but the atmosphere was nice once a few more tables were filled. My boys of 11 and 7 years old enjoyed their food and both declared that this restaurant was the best restaurant they had ever been to. We recommend this restaurant and we will visit again when we’re next in London for a family outing.

Franco’s beautiful private dining room which can be split in two separate rooms accommodating 34 on one long table, 50 in the whole of the lower ground or 14 in the wine cellar.

The wife and I went for a mid-week date night and had a lovely time at Humo. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the decor and overall aesthetic was very cool and most importantly the food was delicious. It’s a great asset to Watford high street.

Although a bit confused at the start of our evening, the personnel made up for that later on. We were complimented with some wagyu temaki, and everything that came from the kitchen was outstanding. It was my 60th birthday so we thought we’d celebrate in style at Restaurant Story. It started really well. We were warmly welcomed, and the food was lovely. Unfortunately our overall experience was let down by the very strange situation with the wine. Despite the sommelier talking to us as soon as we sat down, he did not explain the wine pairings to us, and then he disappeared and when the first course arrived he had still not taken our wine order. The other wait staff were great. They apologised and got it sorted out, but it was all very strange, and not what you expect from a Michelin starred restaurant.

The Spicy Beef Berlada had a robust flavour and its spiciness was just right. I paired this with plain rice and Kerabu. Tangy , salty n sweet , citrusy, nutty, aah my tastebuds were rejoicing ! Popiah Basah didn’t make much of an impression in terms of ingredients and flavour. Roti Telur’s Fish Curry was delicious. Mee Goreng had a generous serving of prawns and beef. The Pulut Hitam was not too sweet and a warming treat as a wintry dessert. I asked for reduced sugar for Asam Boi and my drink turned out refreshing. The restaurant is small so bookings are essential. Table space is even smaller and food was not served course by course so the table became very crowded. It involved careful manoeuvring between glasses ,cutlery etc They did clear plates promptly so that created more table space.

This was my second visit to The Sussex,the first being two months ago.I once again can not fault the service which on both occasions I’ve found it to be efficient,friendly,warm,welcoming & knowledgeable.On this my second visit i didn’t enjoy the food quite as much as i had on my first visit.We chose the Local And Wild Set Menu,which is what i had thoroughly enjoyed on my first visit,and there was nothing wrong with any of the courses served but possibly some of the dishes were less interesting to my palate this time….But it was still a very good experience,my guest loved it,and we will definitely return. I ordered a bottle of their Nutbourne Vineyard Blush rose to enjoy with our meal and we both really enjoyed it and thought it to be excellent value.

The Cricketers always offer a warm welcome and an interesting menu. My sister had the belly pork boa buns to start followed by chicken supreme with couscous. I started with the spicy buffalo wings with Dorset blue dip and then onto the prawn curry. We both the food was absolutely fabulous and certainly very different to most pub fares. Highly recommended!

What a lovely experience... a lively Italian restaurant near Marble Arch. Both the menu and the food reflected Italian thinking in an inviting, slightly more rustic way, with robust, tasty flavours. A nice pub with good food. There seemed to be a lack of staff for the service so things were not top notch. The food could have been amazing but the main course was let down by slightly overcooked fish and the fish had no flavor at all which let me very disappointed. I must say the starter and dessert were fantastic and the accompaniments to the fish were really great but as the fish was meant to be the star it was a let down. They did give our two soft drinks for free but really if a restaurant is trying to be a gastro pub they need to tick all the boxes. I would go back just to see if it was an off day but I have heard similar things from other people

We had the chefs choice tasting menu with wine pairing. Staff were nice and welcoming, we arrived when the restaurant just opened for 6 so the atmosphere was relaxed which was nice. The food was delicious and well presented, each dish arrived promptly and the wine pairing to go with each dish was lovely and well explained by the staff which was a nice touch. My one slight negative was the fact each dish was made for sharing and some of the portion sizes were quite small so if there are two of you with a larger appetite you might leave still feeling a tad hungry, this is why I left a 4 star for value as I felt for the price having your own dish each wouldn’t have been too much to ask. Regardless of that the quality of the food was very good, the pork and potato main dish being the standout, absolutely exquisite! I’d recommend a visit for anyone looking for a Michelin star tasting menu on the slightly more affordable side I would just say be prepared to have to get a late night snack on the way home!

Westerns Laundry is a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant focusing on seafood & natural wines. The restaurant is located in the Islington/Highbury neighbourhood of North London. It opened in 2018 and is housed in a 1950's industrial building which used to be home to the largest commercial laundry in North London. It now boasts a beautiful 60 cover dining room, which opens onto an open 20 cover cobbled courtyard with olive trees as well as an intimate private dining room. Westerns Laundry has won numerous awards for excellence and originality and is a firm favourite on the London dining scene.

I'd say this place is a local favourite for a special night out, and it doesn't need the hype of the internet. It is and old school, establishment restaurant, however so be aware of that when you book. The website doesn't do it justice and Wilton's exceeded our expectations. It's the type of place that, if you know, you know!

I love Launceston Place. Every dish is different and bursting with flavour. Such a wonderful place to eat with friends. I was so disappointed to hear that it is closing.
