Avelo Restaurant is located in a heritage townhouse on a quiet street in Yorkville and serves some of the city's finest plant-based cuisine. Our aim is to deliver an extraordinary and immersive dining experience where the servers guide guests through an exploration of many small plates highlighting seasonal ingredients while offering insight into each dish. We also offer an optional wine pairing and are able to accommodate many dietary restrictions with advance notice.

Avelo hosts two dinner seatings per evening where guests choose between the 5-course or the 8-course* tasting menu. The seating times are 5-6:15pm and 7:45-8:30pm.

It is rare to go to a restaurant in Toronto that is so popular and busy, yet the staff have a wonderful synergy that translates into genuinely caring about their guests. We were offered fresh tableware after our appetizers which is not uncommon, but we were also offered additional sour dough bread to soak up the sauce without even having to ask for it. Not so common!Everyone pitched in, including the bartender to make sure we weren’t sitting with dirty dishes and that our water and wine glasses were always filled. They were friendly and polite without being obsequious. We chose a Pinot that surprised us with some effervescence. The wine was not spoiled but the bit of bubbly was not to our liking and with absolutely no fuss, they replaced the bottle with a different choice. We enjoyed our meal, the food is delicious(!), and it felt really good to be in a place where the staff truly works together to make sure guests are enjoying an evening of dining out. Few restaurants have endured the fickle habits of Torontonian diners, so I hope Bar Isabel continues to do what they are doing for many more years because we’ve been going there since 2013 and always enjoy it!!

Had a wonderful meal here. I did the tasting menu, which is not cheap, but well worth the experience. The food was wonderful and the staff were everything you could possibly hope for, even from a high end French restaurant. So happy we chose Bonaparte for our "fancy meal" while in Montreal.

Our family had an amazing dining experience at Caffino! The Italian meal was absolutely perfect—authentic, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Osso Bucco was melt in your mouth and the Linguine Alle Vongole was also a favourite. Every dish brought the essence of Italy to the table. Our waiter, Vincenzo, was outstanding. His friendly demeanor and attentive service truly elevated our evening. Highly recommend this place for anyone seeking genuine Italian cuisine.

This was our first time dining here and was well worth the drive! The food was delicious (I ordered the organic salmon, and my husband had the prawn cocktail and 6oz tenderloin) The atmosphere is so elegant and beautiful and prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and service. It was a perfect choice to celebrate my husbands birthday! David, our server was the best! Can’t wait to go back!! 10/10!

Our second visit to the restaurant. The cosy setting is delightful and the service is very good. We were a bit surprised by the prix fix only menu which was not the case for our previous visit. However the options offered were all great. Apparently we were warned of the menu change by email through open table but we didn’t recall seeing that. I highly recommend this establishment

The food at crossroads never disappoints. Service is great and the place is always decked out with quaint seasonal vibes. We were seated in the "muskoka room" during winter and while the heat lamps kept the space warm above, the draft at floor level left our feet and legs quite cold. I don't recommend sitting in that space during winter. Overall, a great place to dine and probably the best kids menu in Muskoka with so much variety and great value.

I’ve been to Dovetail three times now, and each visit has been outstanding. The service is always warm and attentive, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. Owner James Eddington states “we are so blessed to be living in such an agriculturally rich area of the world”.
Although the local food movement is really starting to take off, it has always been the driving force in Eddington’s kitchen. A menu that changes frequently, as each season inspires the delicacies our region has to offer.
Eddington’s occupies the original Carling homestead (built in the 1870’s). After two major renovations, an addition of the a new dining room and a serene outdoor backyard summer patio, the restaurant has a clean and modern look while maintaining its traditional and warm feel.

Food was delicious and service welcoming and attentive. While it's a small space and the restaurant was crowded it was still comfortable and did not feel cramped. Really liked the vibe and the food. Will definitely be back.

General Public is inspired by trying to imagine what an upscale English pub would be if it had the heart of an American brasserie (and was open 11 to 11). It’s also going to signal a little bit of steakhouse, but not too much. And finally, it will look behind itself at the Black Hoof, which you will see reflected in James Santon’s menu here and there. In terms of vibe, the main floor is ‘everything’s gone green’, with lush comfortable banquette seating, warm wood, and barstools designed for long conversations over many cocktails. Upstairs you’ll find a completely different space that transports you to a peachy 80s dream. Somehow these two halves make perfect sense, and complement each other in a seamless conversation, where neither wins the argument, but you really do have to see it! See you soon!

Great food. Modern interpretation of art deco feels very warm and inviting. The service was very friendly and attentive. The menu took a seeing at tradition British with flair and was executed very well. Highly recommend the carpaccio and yellowtail crudo from the raw menu. The non alcoholic cocktail list was one of the more inspired that I have seen. A very beautiful experience that a cater to intimate couple moments and larger family and friend affairs. Highly recommend

One of the best dining experiences I have had. The food is exquisite but the atmosphere is not pretentious. Located in an old building with 100 year old floors, brick walls but white tablecloths and delicate wine glasses. Dinner is not inexpensive but chef provided an amuse bouche and the waiter suggested a different wine with a little tasting. Everything about this place is great. Service was very attentive but not stuffy. We loved watching the army at work in the kitchen assembling our courses. This restaurant is a destination place.

I've read some reviews where people didn't seem happy about the food. I don't see how that's possible. We had the Dover sole and the steak but we asked for the morel sauce instead of the pepper sauce and it was spectacular. Dessert was amazing and the service was wonderful. I don't know how anybody could find anything to complain about.

Food and service was excellent! The oysters were highly recommended as an appetizer- the ones made with maple and jalapeño and miso gratin were the best! Grilled octopus was also delicious! For entrees, we had halibut (fish of the day), salmon and the black linguine-portions were just right and was some of the best seafood I had. Definitely recommend and I can’t wait to go back when in Montreal again.

amazing well thought out cocktails with unique flavours. the miso udon was to die for and I wish we had more room to try all their food offerings. Our servers were knowledgeable and very friendly, Justin recommended the Porcelain to pair with the Pavlova. the Porcelain on its own was beautiful, but also complemented the dessert so well.

Onion soup was delicious and so was the Caesar salad. Very flavourful. My friend had a Greek salad with salmon. It really did not look as we expected - Greek salad with the salmon on top with feta all around- but she said it was very tasty. Only 3 little triangles of feta- not crumbled feta. More like a deconstructed salad. Piece of salmon was very generous.

We had a wonderful dinner at Osteria Giulia. The staff were warm and attentive. The atmosphere was perfectly balanced—cozy and inviting, with soft, warm lighting and candles on each table creating an intimate vibe. The clean, minimalist design added a modern and polished touch without feeling overly formal. The food was excellent. We tried the veal carpaccio, seafood pasta, and rack of lamb. The veal was tender and paired beautifully with the fried capers. The seafood pasta was perfectly cooked, and the lamb was flavorful and cooked just right. Osteria Giulia is a place I’d happily return to—it’s a great spot for a memorable meal.

Decided to make the trip from Detroit to check out the restaurant - WORTH the trip. The food was an incredible experience, the flow of service and the remarking of tables was done exceptionally well. Cocktails were a hit (shoutout Rosita) and the dessert was as delectable as could be. Highly recommend making time to try this spot out - you will not be disappointed!!!

My husband and I arrived about 10 mins prior to our reservation time. We had to drive around a bit to find parking as everything was full. Upon our arrival we were greeted and told that we would have to wait a short while for our table and we're then offered the drink menu and a seat at one of the side tables. Having the drink menu in hand we were assuming someone would come to take our drink order while we waited but this was not the case. It's almost as if we were just put to the side and forgotten about. It was our first time eating at this restaurant and things were off to a rocky start. We waited about half an hour for our table which isn't too big of a deal, had we had a drink in hand at least. Once seated we were immediately introduced to our waiter Gavin. We cannot say enough great things. His service was absolutely phenomenal and made up for the previous experience when we arrived. The food was absolutely delicious. Every single morsel was heavenly. My husband even commented to Gavin about how he had never been anywhere and enjoyed his drink. Everything was on point and we will definitely be back! We left more than satisfied

We had an amazing dinner at bison! We chose the set menu they were running and upgraded a few of the dishes on it and it was all delicious. We were served by Chris at the bar who was awesome! He’s very knowledgeable and helped guide us through the menu. He made us a custom peanut butter whiskey espresso martini that was out of this world. Can’t wait to come back again.

Our experience at The Chase exceeded our expectations. The food was exquisite and our server was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The Halibut was to die for and the Lobster Spaghetti was very tasty. Our server also recommend the best wines. Safe to say we were extremely satisfied. Will be returning again.

The end goal was always assured though, that they would come back to the town that gave them their start and help bring a special space to the place that they grew up.

Treadwell offers indoor dining and outdoor dining on our enclosed and heated patio. We are open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

During the Fall and Winter months, dinner reservations are available on Monday thru Thursday from 5pm to 730pm. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, we offer two seatings - between 5pm and 6pm; as well as between 745pm and 8:45pm (with each table allocated 2hr 30min). Please note that our menu for dinner is a multi-course, prix fixe menu ($115 per guest).

Lunch reservations are available between 11:30am and 2pm, with our lunch a la carte menu being offered. Breakfast is served between 8am and 10am

The Ugly Duckling is the highlight of my dining experiences in Victoria BC. Dining here is an experience for all senses, from the restaurant design, lighting, their welcoming Chinese Milk bread and made in house butter, and every dish in the set menu. The delicacy on the presentation of their dishes, the nuance of flavours, the integration of local ingredients makes Chef Corbin and his team of Sous Chefs top contributors to our local food scene. The cocktails are brilliant, transforming Chinatown inspired flavours into liquid in the most creative ways. The service is the cherry on the cake so to speak, you truly feel regarded and every person bringing something to your table is curious and engaged, not intrusive though and genuine. It feels like everyone enjoys being part of this team, and every bite tells you as much. This restaurant and team delivers consistently, and it has truly won my heart, becoming my top recommendation for fine dining in Victoria. This is the place where I celebrate everything worth celebrating and more, as each time they find a way to add a personal touch to my experience there. Highly recommended!

A delicious Table d"Hote menu with plenty of choice. The Haida Gwaii tuna starter was amazing. We also enjoyed the duck confit and the trout dishes. The desserts were also outstanding and the cappuccino with orange biscotti a perfect ending. And all this with a sunny view of a winter vineyard with a blue Lake Ontario in the background.

We celebrated our anniversary at Wild Blue last night, and it was an unforgettable experience! The service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and made us feel so special from the moment we arrived. The food was absolutely delicious, with beautifully presented dishes that were both creative and sophisticated, but never crossed the line into being too "out there." It was my friend and I first visit, from checking in to seating, and server's recommendations, all were done in a professional level. Presentation and tastes of the dishes were very well thought of and prepared. Return visit is a must.

We tried the lunch Manu, went for the burgers, although we also could've gone for picanha... the cheeseburger with bone marrow were superb!! I haven't had such a great burger in a long time!!! Beautiful ambiance and had the silky Malbec (las nubes) fab!!
