The unassuming sign in Soho that advertises the Townhouse belies the luxury that lies within. We had a lovely meal at the Ivy, Tower Bridge, however, very disappointed to be brought the bill after our meal and told our time was up! Luckily we were able to move to the bar to finish our cocktails.

About the restaurant
Beloved by Fitzrovia locals, the Riding House Café is a light, airy space ideal to wake up even the most bleary-headed revelers. Breakfast is a colorful affair. Juices are simply called red, green, and gold, while the chorizo hash combines Spanish sausage with seasonal kale and baked eggs. Veggie options are available. Guests comment that the service runs like clockwork here, efficient but still friendly and welcoming. A wonderful venue to take in the buzzing atmosphere of cool Fitzrovia.

Chelsea
About the restaurant
One of the most glamorous of the Ivy restaurants, this Chelsea treasure has a gorgeous garden terrace and "orangery"—a beautiful glasshouse-type area filled with wicker chairs and comfy sofas. Their lobster benedict lends a luxurious spin to a traditional favorite, while the full English is a great standard, with a vegetarian alternative available. Widely accepted by Chelsea regulars as the best breakfast in London.

Piccadilly
About the restaurant
A Jermyn Street institution since 1946, Franco’s is allegedly one of the oldest Italian restaurants in London. They combine the Italian passion for food with the English love of breakfast to create a simple yet delicious menu. Grab an espresso and a croissant, or take a bit longer over baked eggs florentine with spinach and hollandaise. They even do their own twist on shakshuka, with avocado and feta. A regular haunt for business breakfasts.

About the restaurant
The term "tavern" is a bit of a misnomer for this grand Fitzrovia dining room set in the Edition London hotel. Framed works of art cover the walls and chandeliers drip delectably from the ceiling. Hotel guests and those passing through are equally welcome for breakfast. Berners serves a traditional menu where the stars are the ingredients: Dingley Dell pork in the sausages, and sourdough bread from the nearby Borough Market. For an extra morning boost, try the health shot juices.

Covent Garden
About the restaurant
A spin-off of the New York original, Covent Garden’s Balthazar is just as indulgently French inspired and very popular among Londoners. Petit déjeuner, or breakfast, ranges from simple porridge with banana, to luxurious Lobster Royale with smoked salmon. Enjoy some relaxing jazz music with breakfast. A great place to take time over the morning and enjoy good company and good food in a relaxed atmosphere.

About the restaurant
London’s skyline is one of the most famous in the world, including iconic modern architecture like the Gherkin. Get up high and enjoy the view with breakfast at one of the finest French restaurants in the city. Frequented by city regulars, this is also a tourist favorite thanks to the verdant rooftop terrace and gardens. Breakfast is either a set menu or a la carte, with an unusual ham and tomato benedict and the French classic, croque monsieur.

About the restaurant
Set right on the edge of a beautiful inner city garden in Bishopsgate, the Ivy City Garden continues the urban greenery theme by housing its own hidden garden, with seating for around 100 hungry guests. A polished and elegant restaurant offering a range of breakfast choices, including delicious gluten-free toast with avocado or luxurious lobster with scrambled eggs. This Ivy is just tucked away enough to escape the hustle and bustle for a moment of peace during any trip to London.

About the restaurant
As the only restaurant on Savile Row, Sartoria is definitely the best breakfast in London for those out suit shopping at this haven for tailored fashion. An elegant Italian joint, breakfast reflects this with a small but select range of subtly altered favorites. The Italian Job is a Mediterranean twist on the full English, swapping out bacon for pancetta and beans for refreshing avocado. The Milano is a soft-boiled egg with mushrooms and a saffron risotto cake; much posher than egg and soldiers.

Loved it! We dropped in on a whim and were delighted. The Vitello Tunnata was almost life-changing and the Fettuccine con Ragu di Vitello was not far behind. Service was very charming and considerate, if a tiny bit stretched by a large private function, and the Italian Feast fixed price menu made it excellent value.

St Paul's
About the restaurant
Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has a wide range of restaurants all across London. This St Paul’s venue is perfectly placed for those visiting the famous cathedral and other surrounding sights. They serve breakfast daily, with half the menu dedicated to cocktails and juices. There’s a detox with orange, carrot, and ginger, for those perhaps delicate from the night before. Or for diners starting celebrations early, a bloody mary with Grey Goose vodka could be just the thing. Kids are very welcome here, so this is a great spot for a mid-morning family refuel.

Soho
About the restaurant
Soho is always buzzing, and the Ivy prides itself on serving up British food from dawn until dusk. Classy and sophisticated, diners love the exceptional service here. The Ivy Garden Breakfast is a vegetarian favorite, incorporating halloumi and watercress with traditional English flavors. Have a classic ginger beer, or stay alert with a non-alcoholic vanilla sour. Saturday brunchers can enjoy some records spun by a resident DJ for that party feel to start the weekend.

Bermondsey
About the restaurant
The interior is a mix of shabby chic and eclectic vintage at this Bermondsey gastropub. Breakfast is available every day, and locals often find that around 9:30 a.m. is a great time to enjoy some peace and quiet with a full English. Ingredients are second to none, including flavorsome Cumberland sausage and fresh sourdough toast. There are some unusual additions to the menu, including corn cakes with chorizo jam and banana bread with honeycomb butter. A neighborhood treasure loved by locals.

A restaurant that clearly cares. About the food, the atmosphere, the guests. Relaxing, informal but special at the same time. Loved it.
