This is a great surprise. The food was authentic and the server was excellent and explained all the food that was unfamiliar to us. They also had a very nice wine and drink selection. Would definitely recommend and return.

Ruthies is elegant yet comfortable with a solid menue. It is always a little chilly in the restaurant. It appears the days of removing your hat at the table are gone as other patrons are always dressed too casual for the venue in my opinion.

We appreciate booking in advance so we can secure the alcove table (seats 8). We have 2 hearing impaired guests. Service is outstanding & the food is great. Our steaks were grilled perfectly according to order. The owner stopped by to chat. Before we left complimentary champagne was served so we could toast my daughter's birthday & celebrate Christmas Eve. My only suggestion would be to provide complementary bread for the table which I feel should be included given the price point.

The kitchen is the heart of the Campbell house which is why we created an expedition kitchen so customers can see all of the love and hard work that goes into our dishes. firefly's vision is a sustainable one; the frame of the building is recycled steel, all of the barn wood is reclaimed as is much of our furniture, the pond irrigates our gardens which greatly reduce our carbon footprint along with all the trash that comes with packaging food, we compost, are constantly upgrading our energy efficiency and NEVER use chemical fertilizers or pesticides in our garden.

The food was very well prepared and flavorful. Portions were well sized and a decent value. Our server was very attentive and pleasant. Although it was somewhat noisy you could still have a conversation and hear the music being played. Nice to see a full restaurant in highly recommend.

Love Prosecco. Neighborhood restaurant that makes dining feel like special event. Bread is fresh and warm served with fresh olive oil and olive tampa ade. We had the delicious bufala appetizer and special was shrimp appeti34 cooked perfectly. My daughter ordered the carbonara and side of asparagus, my husband the fettuccini al granchi and I had the tartufate which is my usual dish that I cannot get enough of (truffle, mushroom, asparagus, sun dried tomatoes) We come often. Meals and ambience always perfect. Easy for conversation. Excellent service and food is divine

Great meal and service for a night out to celebrate our 51st Annivetsary. We chose a Thursday night because we had to come to Peoria for a medical appointment. There were several groups of mostly men in the back room where we sat. They were noisy at times.

We ordered Christmas Tamales from Libertad and I decided to take my husband there for brunch and to pick up the tamales. I'd been there twice before with girlfriends for brunch. Once again it was outstanding, amazing food and very friendly service. We had the Pan de Avo, Panqueques, plus sides of Crispy Potatoes (the crispiest EVER!!!) and Bacon (with a lovely drizzle of maple syrup on them). Everything was just perfect! Will definitely be back again and again.

It was a little cold in the restaurant, this was due to it being a very cold night and the door allowed a breeze in every time someone arrived and left. Also the A/C was on in the men's room and the water was very cold. These issues are easily fixed. All in all the food was excellent and the service was top notch. The staff found the perfect balance of allowing my party to feel as if someone was always around and available without being over bearing. I prefer when staff allows patrons to enjoy the wonderful meal they prepared without constantly asking if we need anything. The food was amazing and the spicy miso soup was a welcomed change to the typical miso soup.

We LOVED everything we ate at Parachute. We shared the Korean fried chicken, haemul pajeon, 30 day dry aged bulgogi, yukgaejang, and s'mores patbingsu. The vibe ws really fun and our service was great. When they open again, I'm certain they will bring the same care and expertise to another excellent experience.

Our server, Emma was prompt, but not pushy. She was extremely calm despite the busy night. We had casual food in a casual setting and it was just perfect for a couple of days before Christmas. The Ajhi tuna sandwich and salad were both wonderful, the shrimp Poboy Drew rave reviews, and the chicken sandwich pleased the person who ordered it. A good bottle of Malbec, and we were all very happy.

Absolutely loved the entire experience! The service, the food, the atmosphere was amazing! The ONLY reason why my overall experience is 4 stars is because of the parking. There is NO close parking. We had to walk several blocks, after locating a park.

Delicious vegan food creatively prepared and plated. Wonderful cocktails and warm inviting ambiance. My only comment is the prices. Yes, it’s Winnetka, so there’s that, but I cook vegan every day and know that the food doesn’t cost nearly that much. The markup here is exceptional. Worth it perhaps to be able to go to a restaurant and order ANYTHING on the menu ( what a treat!), but I will not be able to go very often because of the extremely high costs.

We came for lunch and we initially were the only party there with only one other group coming in after us. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. It was quiet, clean, well spaced out, and easy to find. The menu is slightly limited so it's not likely a place once would visit often due to lack of choices. Prices were reasonable for about half of the items, the rest I felt was on the expensive side. That being said, the food was delicious as was agreed by our whole party. I only knocked down the value a bit because I thought it was petty to charge for a side of ranch which I asked for my fries. I was not informed there either be a charge and I just think it's ridiculous to charge for something like that. I did feel that it seemed to take a while to get our food after ordering considering we were the only ones there, so I would just throw caution if it would be more busy on what that impact may be but I can't speak from experience since this was my first visit.

The food is always delicious. This is the second or third visit, though, with slow service from the bar. For such a large seating area, they may need to invest in more bar staff.

Service was excellent. Food was superb. We both ordered the fillets. Cooked perfectly. Could Actually really wind down enjoy a meal without being rushed and noise level was low, even though the restaurant was busy. Really enjoyed everything about the evening. This was the second Christmas Eve my family went to Nicollet Island Inn for dinner. The festive and cozy atmosphere is unmatched. We’ve enjoyed appetizers, dinner, and dessert both times as well. Highly recommend for a holiday dinner.

The food was very good - much better than expected. Well presented and nicely prepared. I especially liked the Eggs Benedict made with shaved ham, as opposed to a think ham slice. I felt like it was more digestable, enjoyable, and even flavorful. The Avocado Toast was also very good, with radish and cucumber slices mixed in. My wife enjoyed it very much. The staff were all very friendly, helpful, and nice. Really enjoyed the brunch, overall. Great neighborhood gem.

We loved Mesob! The food and drinks were delicious! I had the Green Shrimp Curry which was the best curry I’ve ever had. Our table also had the conch, a goat dish and the beef tibs. Everything was excellent!

We heard Wodka Bar was switching to a bar with late night pierogis, so we went for one last dinner. They served the best Ukranian comfort food, golimpki, stroganoff, etc, with great fresh ingredients. They have dozens of infused vodkas and make fabulous martinis. It's a great place. I hope their new concept on Court Street us as great, plus maybe bigger to serve more people. Thanks Wodka Bar, we will miss you.

Overall great experience, menu variety and quality was top tier . This was our first time here and we will for sure be back! The charcuterie board was one of the nicest I’ve seen with five cheese varieties and almost as many cracker/bread choices displayed in a very appealing manner. The ambiance was lovely, and the service was perfect! It was definitely worth doing while my friend was in town. The tea selection was good, and the food was as well, though the sweets were a bit overwhelmingly sweet, and if I go back I think I would save a scone or sandwich for last to balance that out. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Not something I can do every day. But definitely a fun day out as a treat!

We went on a slow Monday midafternoon to celebrate our engagement! The Ikura was amazing, and the portion of crab Poke was generous and very delicious. The house salad came out lightning fast too! As always, top notch food coupled with top notch service. We had a drink at the bar while we waited for our reservation time; it was delightful. Today was surprisingly quieter than it has been on previous occasions, although it was quite busy. We did sit in the wine room which helps. Our server, Sean , was great, as is Todd who tends the bar. The food is consistently so good, but sometimes the noise level is so high we cannot hear each other speak. But, today we as great! Thanks!

Chris and Nina Nugent are chef/owners of this Fine Dining BYOB restaurant located in Lincoln Square. goosefoot® features a subtle palette of grays with touches of gold and black. The cuisine is an artful blend of French technique with modern vision created from small artisan farm products. Chef Nugent’s talent for precision, refinement and visual artistry in the form of an elaborate multi-course tasting menu.

The menu price is $175 per person (20% service charge plus tax not included) plus $10 corkage fee per person. (If you purchase some wines from our goosefoot® food & wine store, the corkage fee will be waived).

Join me, Maya Rotman-Zaid, owner of BellaRu Catering, and my staff for the 2nd season our Pana Dining Experience in our commercial kitchen in Highland Park. "Pana" is a common phrase in Venezuela and means "friend" or "buddy". Experience traditional Venezuelan cuisine in a unique environment.
New this year we are adding Patacones - a traditional plantain sandwich and an Arepa Cabimera - a Venezuelan twist on nachos.
Next available dates for Reservations are Feb. 9 and 10 and Feb 16 and 17. Please call for larger parties and we can accommodate other dates.

Owner Jackie James is a British expat who wanted to recreate the experience of a true tea room that you would find in London. Located in the historic Hupmobile Building just one block away from CITYPARK Stadium, we are within walking distance of Union Station, the City Museum, and the Garment District. Parking is available in the garage at 1950 Olive St., or you can park on any of the surrounding streets.

Our high tea was fantastic. Our server, Maurgan was attentive. We are sad to see the tea room close. Thank you for exceptional cuisine and memories, including Prince Charles’ coronation viewing party.

We were greeted by a lovely lady, we didn’t get her name but she even came in a checked on us. Kendall, our server was amazing and so knowledgeable. Her recommendations and attention to detail was spot on! The food was amazing and the Fancy AF burger was just that! I would vote that the BEST BURGER in Indy by far! That cheese, oh my! Thanks to the small but wonderful people that make up that awesome experience! Music was fantastic! We will be back!

Our server was friendly. We were supposed to get the crispy rice bottom in our Paella and it did not get served that way. Also the savory plantains did not have any flavor. Paella (other than the crispy rice) was good. Mussels were cooked good.

Going to Mullets is a great experience. They have a wonderful staff working hard to make sure you are taken care of. They have different drinking experiences available, from wine and beer flights, to boozie milkshakes. Mullets even has an igloo available for rent for your winter gatherings. The best part is that you can get your Spotted Cow super close to home if you live in Illinois. You must check out this bar and the eclectic farm stand attached…you’ll love it!
