About the restaurant
Joule, the first restaurant from celebrated husband and wife cooking team Rachel Yang and Seif Chirchi, is re-located in October, 2012 to the innovative, newly developed the Fremont Collective in Seattle’s Wallingford/Fremont neighborhood. From its original opening in 2007, Joule has cultivated a loyal dining fan base and captured the attention of an admiring local and national media captivated by the couple’s unique, modern perspective on Korean cuisine. Joule, the mature sibling to Yang and Chirchi’s restaurant, Revel, highlights Korea’s love of beef featuring unconventional cuts accompanied by distinctive and shareable side dishes.

Joule takes reservations for 1.75-3 hour time slots (depending on party size). We do our best to accommodate as many guests as possible and ask that you are considerate of other diners at the end of your meal. If you feel that your party requires more time, please let us know in the notes and we will get back to you with our available accommodations.

Absolutely incredible meal! Everything about it from start to finish was near perfection! Firstly, the hospitality is on point. A server is always right there when you need them to be and they made the amazing suggestion to get half an order of each of the pancakes rather than a full order of one. The servers that come around with the trays of food also know what they’re doing. When I ordered a single oyster for myself and my partner made a comment about not liking oysters, the servers gave us an extra one for free just so my partner could try it. This was an absolutely amazing opportunity to show not just above-and-beyond hospitality, but also that the restaurant truly believes in the quality of its food. And you know what? My partner did say it was the best oyster he ever had! They’re known for their quail however, I just think it’s not meaty enough of a bird for how it was prepared (Most parts were more breading than quail). As for everything else I tried, I just can’t think of any criticisms at all. I guess I could complain about my glass of rosé but that’s entirely my fault. I went with sparkling when I should have gone with still. The hit of the night were the blue corn-pepita pancakes with braised bacon and coffee butter. I wasn’t even going to order it until the server made the suggestion and I’m glad they did! The pecorino and ricotta pancakes are good too just not as good. The wedge salad is all the right balance of flavors with a nice crunch of lettuce to feel extra bright and fresh. The fried brussel sprouts are paired with an incredibly deep cashew satay sauce. The umami richness is impeccable. The almond financiers with duck liver mousse are another example of perfect balance in flavor. The financiers are light and fluffy and the mousse is smooth and delicate. I thought the burrata and bread dish came a too late into the night for us to fully enjoy however the peanut milk was the perfect cap to our evening.

This is not your typical Indian restaurant, although most dishes incorporate Indian ingredients. Loved the Dahi Puri, an interesting melange of savory & sweet flavors. Chili Garlic Crab had chunks of meat swimming deliciously in ghee with lots of garlic plus chili flakes, accompanied by petite lime scented dinner buns to soak up the rest of the sauce. Chicken Masala had 3 skinless/boneless thighs in a flavorful sauce. Saffron rice & Naan were fine. Cocktails yummy & strong. Desserts not overly sweet: 3 layer Cashew cake dessert had acflavor reminiscent of halvah. Sago & coconut panna cotta nice. Our desserts not quite as scrumptious as savory courses, next time I might order the Dari Puri to end the meal. Our entire dinner experience was top notch & I am looking forward to returning. My companion stated it was the best meal he had in a year ( & his family owns a restaurant lol ). I’ve had plenty of traditional Indian food including in the UK & India; the food at Rooh is decidedly different in a good way.

Our meals were both lamb, one with the bone marrow supplement and boy was that tasty. Our wine accompaniment was the lovely bordeaux and newer lighter red wine, both great pairing with the lamb. Additionally we each had desserts of profiteroles and warm apple crisp with creme fraiche. A jewel right down town, who knew!!!!

We will return! The Jamon Iberico de Bellota acorn fed, black. Aged 4 years. Is my all time favorite food. The “ham” did not disappoint. Worth the $27 for Trio de Jamon. We had the pan con tomate. Excellent bread. And sauce. Excellent almonds and olives. O Definitely make a reservation. It is a small place. One of our diners had the trout. It was fantastic and unique. The other diner had the Tetelas. Very good. Everything was served at the right temperature. Our server was prompt. We drank a lot of water! Excellent.

Really awesome experience. We did the bread and Caesar salad as apps which were amazing. Our server did a really nice job pairing wines for us. Brown butter ravioli was decadent and excellent. Loved the butternut squash tortellini, sweet winter pasta. Pro Tip: save some bread to dip in the pasta sauce. Did the Bunet for desert, I didn't love it but my partner did. It was a little too overwhelmingly almondy for me. I would try something different next time. But overall, one of the best meals I've ever had. Every bite was a delight and I will definitely be coming back. Service was excellent. Great choice for a date night.

About the restaurant
Almost 100 years old, this iconic East Village watering hole has pioneered “Dive Elegance”, where craft cocktails and a warm welcome meet. The bar has been a gritty dive bar frequented in the 1990s by The Ramones and The Bouncing Souls, who immortalized it in their “Holiday Cocktail Lounge” song. In the 1980s, Madonna, Iggy Pop and Keith Richards frequented its bar stools. Poets Allen Ginsburg and W.H. Auden were regulars in the 1970s, as was Godlis, who documented the punk rock scene, Frank Sinatra and Shelly Winters made it their haunt in the 1960s. Holiday Cocktail Lounge opened in 1950, succeeding The Ali Baba Burlesque, which entertained guests in the 1940s. The venue began its libational history back in 1919 as a speakeasy hidden in Ann’s Beauty Shop, attracting the likes of Russian revolutionary Leon Trotsky during his East Village sojourn. It was the city’s 50th licensed bar when Prohibition ended in 1933. The building itself dates back to 1835.

The restaurant at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort was excellent. Entrees included Stone Crab as well as Scallops - both were excellent selections. Wait staff was courteous and timely. Ambience was also very good - not loud and we had a nice table for two in a quiet part of the restaurant. Good wine list.

Absolutely loved Elisabetta’s!!! We had a hard time deciding which appetizer and entree to order, everything looked so delicious. Our server helped us pick out our choices and they were fantastic. The pasta so fresh left no doubt it is freshly made for each dish. The cocktails were also a hit as well as a bottle of Chianti. Wish we had left room for dessert… however that gives us a great excuse to return for another dinner experience. Both servers & hostesses are friendly and accommodating. -Delightful birthday dinner for my wife, her best friend and me. An annual tradition since we discovered you maybe six years ago. All staff, waiters, servers, other attendants and hostess served the front of the house superbly. We’d met waiter Massimo years ago and make our reservations when we know it’s gonna be his night, and his booth or table. Always cordial and correct, his confidence leads us to perfect choices from the evening’s menu. I’m fond of their duck, but some years they give it a rest and Massimo may propose entrees that now compete for my new fave. My wife enjoys their pork, and her friend usually follows suit. -The kitchen doesn’t rush or delay. They time things and present our meals just right. Seems last night they were especially generous in portion sizes. We split a pasta by three of us, and it was plenty. My half duck had two legs and the polenta was a wedge of baked wonder. -We personally know the pastry chef and never know which treat to select. This visit we all tried the cannoli and the silky sweet fillings were so satisfying. -For last night we took a later reservation and closed the place down. Not a problem with them. -Happy birthday to my wife, Merry Christmas to all, and ditto new year. Thank you. Or, -Buon compleanno a mia moglie, buon Natale a tutti e idem il nuovo anno. Grazie!

About the restaurant
Molly’s Place offers artisanal fresh made cocktails, MS and a few other craft beers, a selection of wonderful wines from the Biltmore Estate Wine Company. Our food, however, brings the entire experience together. Delicious, house made small plates including the top selling Sesame Seared Filet of Ahi Tuna and other favorites the Cast Iron Smashburger, our signature Crawfish Cakes, and more.

Named for owner Deborah Bailey’s mother Molly, who flew with the Women’s Air Force Service Pilots in WWII, our tiny space evokes a bygone time, with cocktail classics and aviation mementos that also remind us of Grenada’s great and underused airport, where thousands of pilots trained during that same war.

And —- we are growing our roster of musicians, playing live. Come see us. And meet your new friends.

The food was excellent and service was great. The restaurant was super busy and had to wait awhile for us to get the check. But highly recommend giving Molly’s a try

I really love this little bistro. It's a bit out the way whenever I am in Memphis, but I make it a point to stop at Pepper and grab something on the go or dine-in for dinner. I had the French Mustard Chicken Thighs and Brandy Sweet Potato Pie. It was all delicious. The bistro is sort of rustic. It appears to be a work in progress, but I look forward to dining again very soon. Oh yes, try the Lavender and Earl Grey Tea cookies when you visit!
