   Back at Little Grouse.. I wish I had another place to compare it to, but it is just so hard to eat anywhere else when it is this good. Chef Brian continues to knock it out of the park! Went alla famiglia again and not a disappointment to be had - snapped a few pics then on the last few courses, we were too eager to dive in. Meatballs (always have to), focaccia (like Nona just made it for you), the scallops with the parsnip soup were melt-in-your-mouth, the squash risotto (don’t sleep on the amaretti cookies - insane how well they pair), and let me tell you about the new way to eat lasagna.. the cheesy girella with the bolognese and pomodoro 🤤🤤🤤 - I call it fancy, with soul! Then to burst our guts even more, we jumped on the Striploin with Nduja braised lentils, MY GOSH! Finished the whole evening with a chocolate budino with rum raisins and a coffee. Could not have asked for a better meal ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

   We recently went to Little Grouse before a show at TCU place and had a fantastic experience! The service was prompt and friendly and the drinks came quickly. We started with the meatballs which were PHENOMENAL - they were a good portion and the flavors were exceptional along with the homemade marinara sauce. I got the Cacio e Pepe and my friend got the ravioli. Both were very flavorful and the portions were good, but not overfilling.

   The food was fantastic, as were the mocktails. Great space, little bit noisier than expected , I was accompanied by two hard of hearing family members so they had a bit of a struggle with the noise level but we all had a great time. Service was amazing as well.

   We went with selections from the menu rather than a tasting and we’re very happy with our selections. We started with the arugula salad, burrata and focaccia dishes. All were excellent but the burrata was the best dish of its type we have had. The mains we chose were all enjoyed with the pickerel and risotto as highlights. The wines suggested were both good but the Nebbiolo was perfect. The service was attentive, knowledgeable and exceptional. A great evening meal.

   Best experience we had in a long time. The ambiance, the staff, the seating, the food and the wine pairing...blow our mind! The butternut squash risotto...OMG! Give me a bucket :D

   This was our first visit to Little Grouse and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The food and service was so excellent we vowed to return to do the multi-course dinner with wine pairings, which some of the tables around us were enjoying. All-around excellent dining experience.

    The cocktails are fabulous and every dish we ordered was delicious, especially the smoked mushroom and ricotta ravioli! One of the best places, if not the best place, in Saskatoon!
