Chef Tim Love’s flagship restaurant, Lonesome Dove Western Bistro first opened in 2000, in Fort Worth’s Historic Stockyards District, and quickly became the city’s premiere dining establishment. Love has designed a menu influenced by all of the ingredients and cultures that have been a part of the West since the first adventure began on the Goodnight-Loving and Chisholm Trails — with an added level of modern sophistication. The restaurant is beautifully decorated in Fort Worth western style Excellent menu to choose from. Portion sizes are generous Flavors were so good. Light spice complimenting each menu item we tried. Service was impeccable Loved the rabbit rattlesnake sausage. It was my fave Small restaurant with a great vibe

Great experience with great food. Had the Bison ribeye which was delicious, and my girlfriend had the elk which was also delicious. Would highly recommended

Service was excellent as always. They were out of their redfish at 6 pm on a Friday. Not sure who does the ordering and planning but being sold out already was very disappointing. The servers and hostess were great as always. They made up for the lack of menu items.
