   We came for brunch to catch up with a friend from out of town and Marie Louise Bistro was the perfect spot for the occasion. The service was friendly and attentive in all the right ways. Our meal was delicious. The entire experience positive. We are thankful for the opportunity to be together over such a wonderful meal.

   We had a pleasant, nostalgic, annd comfortable experience at Marie Louise. The servers were personable, the food was tasty, and the love music was quite lovely. Our friends had fond memories of the restaurant that preceded Marie Louise and had a great conversation with the server about the nostalgia of that restaurant.

   Escargot plainly served with garlic and butter would be better than the forestiere in porcini stock. And the duck hash is a bit dry. On the other hand, the specialty cocktails are outstanding and the onion soup is magnifique. And the wine choice was perfect and very reasonably priced. I will return for the evening menu, as I only had access to the brunch menu Saturday afternoon My expectations are high!

   Marie Louise is a nice island in the dining area. It is a French style bistro, which has prices that are quite moderate, especially in lieu of many of today’s vastly overrated and overpriced restaurants. We always enjoy it and the food is consistently good. And they have some very nice specialty cocktails.

    Service and ambience was nice. However, the food was very plain. The duck and chicken hardly had much flavor/seasoning. For what it cost, it was pretty underwhelming.
