During this time Matisse will continue to offer our pickup and delivery options. Starting March 30th, our restaurant will operate 6 days a week, Tuesday through Sunday.

To ensure availability please make your reservations now.

To continue to safely serve you, and hopefully provide some comfort and deliciousness to your home. Matisse will continue offer curbside pickup from the hours of 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday; from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM Friday and Saturday.

Orders can be placed over the phone by reaching us at (202) 244-5222 or ubereats and doordash for delivery.

I asked for a quiet table and, as a result, we were seated in a small, pleasant upstairs room. I can't attest to the noise level elsewhere in the restaurant, but we enjoyed wonderful food, excellent service, and the rare ability to have a nice conversation.

The reverse brought our drinks after the first course. Very poor service.. sent drinks back.. food okay.. but small portions.. very loud .. we won’t go back.. sadly.

We had to ask 3 times for a glass of wine.. Lighting so bad one needed a flashlight.. People at the bar made a lot of noise.. Restaurant was not what it was .. Will not return

We’ve eaten there a number and unfortunately our latest visit was not up to the standards we’ve come to expect from the restaurant. Food was unsatisfactory and service was spotty. They did make an effort to compensate, however.

Food was really delicious as always. And the owner/ host was very gracious. It was Saturday evening- which was very busy. The server tried his best- but he definitely could have used another staff member to lighten his load. I think it’s very difficult to get enough staff in DC at restaurants now. We enjoyed our meal and plan to return. Highly recommend.

Excellent and consistent as usual. This is a great neighborhood restaurant. You are always treated well with wonderful service and every dish is delicious and well presented. The wine list is also excellent and among the lowest mark ups I’ve seen in the area.
