At Matteos, we have been caring for our guests for over 25 years. We are inspired by bringing you classic dishes from the Northern and Southern regions of Italy. Our Chef shops at the finest markets daily, to bring you the freshest fish, prime meats and vegetables available. Throughout the years, Matteos has been a favorite local gathering place for friends and family as well as many celebrities, politicians and sports figures. A staple of New York and Florida.     Matteo's of Roslyn has been "our place" to go for many years now. Ambiance is wonderful. The food is beyond great, with generous portions at a reasonable price. Coconut martini is fabulous. The staff is amazing.....What more can be said.

    For LI Restaurant Week, Mateo's has the best menu and value around. Our waiter, Darwin, was super attentive and lovely.

    Reservations are a must. They have the best Prixe Fixe menu around. The burrata appetizer is top notch as well as the balsamic drizzle on the plate. Compliments the fresh green and red tomatoes. The pasta dishes are perfectly al dente and seafood is fresh. My favorite sauce is the franchese - goes well with everything. Especially the breaded pork chops with hot cherry tomatoes. All works well together.
