"Seafood Gumbo" appetizer was only sausage gumbo with a small sprinkling of crab meat on the rice. Etoufe entree had a very very similar roux as the appetizer gumbo and was a minimal portion of a very crawfish sparse sauce over an extra large bed of rice to hide the $27 dish's poor value. Neither served more than warm. Eddie (floor manager?) reviewed the gumbo entree and was quick to comment on the quantity of rice and the lack of crawfish sauce and kindly did not charge me for the appetizer and entree. He did not do so grudgingly and was professional and asked for feedback in the future. I'd hasten to say I got a middle of the road meal for no charge and clearly wanted a great meal as it will be my last chance for one for 2-3 weeks due to my next round of chemo. Ashton, our server, was excellent. But a disappointing non-event instead of a good meal.

It was a nice experience. The staff were friendly and the food was good. I got crab cakes and the fried chicken salad and the plate was overflowed. The music was a mix of Frank Sinatra and some modern upbeat music. The ambience was not romantic or intimate, but still nice. Some people were dressed formal but mostly people were dressed in everyday attire. Bathrooms were nice and nice. And the name is pronounced just as it's spelled-McAdoos. There was not any wow factors to this restaraunt.

My wife and I celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary and I secretly ordered flowers to be brought to the restaurant. Our table was reserved for 6:45 PM but the flowers arrived at 5PM and the restaurant received then, took care of them and placed them in our table in a timely manner. The food was excellent. We had Rockefeller oysters, flounder, and red snapper and every single dish was delicious. The ambiance almost perfect, a little noise for us. The location of the restaurant is very good also. Close to flower shops, and a roundabout beautifully adorned with Christmas lights.

Our first time there--it was very busy on this Wednesday evening. Service and menu choices were great. It was a little noisy for us. Entrees were very good, but dessert choices were amazing. We will try lunchtime for our next visit.

This is one of our favorite places. The food is usually great, however it was not this time. My husband got the big fish platter, and 2 of the 3 pieces of catfish were burnt to the point of not being edible. I got the mahi Mardi gras and the sauce on the Mahi Mahi was not that great. Him and I barely touched our meals. It was brought to the waiters attention. At no given point did he offer us anything else, or to comp us at least one meal. The creme brulee and the expresso creme brulee were fantastic. As were the oysters.

Such delicious food! I had the sea bass and it was succulent. My daughter had the catfish and it was delicious. The fries that came with it was very spicy. The shrimp and scallops were enjoyed by my friend. Yum. We started our meal with six fresh oysters which were very good and ended the meal with the crème brûlée. Double yum! Definitely will come back!

This place is loud! And I don't enjoy that at all. My reservation was for 6:45. I arrived a few minutes early and was told it would be ready soon. I didn't get seated until after 7. Other people were obviously unhappy with the delays in seating as well. However, once I was seated, the food and service were excellent! It was service with a smile by each and every person. The Gulf oysters were fantastic! As was the Caesar salad, and the crawfish & shrimp etoufee. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas and the meal was delicious. But I'm not sure I would go back because of the noise level.
