   The service was great. Our server made excellent suggestions on the menu and for drinks. The food was cooked to perfection and the presentation was A+. Thank you for an awesome dinner experience.

   Disappointing Experience I used to enjoy dining at MezzaNotte, but after my most recent experience, I won't be returning. The service was absolutely horrible. We were there for over two hours, and our server barely checked on us. After we finished our appetizers, she still didn't bother to take our dinner order for an extended period of time. When we finally were able to get her attention to order our meal, she was extremely condescending and patronizing throughout the evening, which made the experience even worse. When we finally got our food, she didn't check to see how it was. I ordered the crab fettuccine special, which was incredibly disappointing--just a few small lumps of crab over buttered noodles for $35. The artichoke appetizer is not lightly fried, it was overly fried and not great. The shrimp appetizer was the only good thing but our meal was completely overpriced and underwhelming. To top it off, after the meal, she never asked if we wanted dessert or coffee, which seemed like a basic courtesy. This used to be one of my go-to spots, but after such an awful experience with both the service and the food quality, I can't justify coming back. For the price, I expect much better. Save your time and money--there are far better places to dine in the area.

    Server was cheery, welcoming and attentive. Companion and I had the special which was scallops with asparagus and risotto. It was so good. Scallops were tender and the risotto was a good consistency. We also had the salad with pears, crispy goat cheese, and figs. It was yummy.
