   This was my husband and my second time dining at Milton’s. We brought a close friend who was in town for the New Year’s celebration. We ordered from the New Year’s Eve menu, which was well-curated. I had the duck breast. My husband had the scallops. And our friend had the steak. They were all delicious. For dessert, we all had the carrot cake, which was gluten-free. It was the most delicious carrot cake we’ve ever had! The meal was excellent. We dined on their patio, which was heated and partially closed off from the outside environment. However, it was periodically drafty throughout the meal. Otherwise, five stars for all aspects of the dining experience.

   Milton’s is a favorite for date night or special occasion. The new chef is absolutely fantastic and the service is top notch!

   First time dining here. Bar, food and service were great. Will absolutely come again. Only negative was being sat in an overflow area under a tent. Definite negative for first time.

   We’re local regulars and love Milton’s however the Christmas Eve dinner this year was not as good as years past. They removed both the crab bisque and the salmon as options for the holiday menu and the dessert was just ok. For the very high price it was just not worth it overall. While I understand a holiday menu comes at a price, we expected better offerings such as those that were omitted this year, but have been available previously. I’d hate to discontinue our Christmas Eve dinner tradition at Milton’s, but they need to offer better appetizers and higher end entrees and better than average desserts to justify the inflated cost.

   Go here every year with my mother to celebrate my birthday and it’s always packed because of the holidays. But this year was different. The Meatloaf was burnt and the Gouda mashed potatoes were cold and with mom’s meal the mushroom risotto was cold. As always the staff was wonderful, replacing what wasn’t good with fresh, hot items. And the food as always, is delicious. At the end, our waitress brought a slice of carrot cake with a candle, (also wonderful, btw), but strange when she brought it over and said “here you go…happy birthday”…and then waited while mom sang Happy Birthday all by herself. Like I said, we go here every year at this time of year for my birthday, and it’s always crazy busy, but at the same time it always feels special, like Milton’s is celebrating with me. This year, didn’t quite get there. It was very good, but not the exceptional that I’m used to.

   We had not been to Milton’s before but had heard about how nice it was from friends. The ambience is charming. Service was attentive. Our party selected crabcakes (fine), bolognese - very good, trout (fine) Meatloaf - fair. We had a nice bottle of Duckhorn Pinot Noir and with the fireplaces lit, it was a cozy evening.

   Always a enjoyable dining experience. From the valet guys to our server, service is always sooo good and there not a bad dish on the menu! Great cocktails too.

   Milton’s is our go to for fine dining. My husband ordered NY strip (medium rare) and I the crab cakes. With the exception of the steak, my crab cakes and all the sides although delicious were lukewarm, which was a little disappointing. I owe it up to being very busy (Friday before Christmas). Our server was attentive and provided excellent service. We plan to continue making Milton’s our go to restaurant for special occasions.
