Bread at the salad bar was very dry. Everything else was great! We really miss the bacon cheddar soup!

Looking for somewhere nice in Sioux Falls we came across Minerva which was so welcoming on a winter night. A great ambience, busy but not overly and the servers were totally on top of things and service was great My only criticism is the over saltiness of the food. I get that Americans like salt and it is more liberally used here than back home but the flavour of good quality ingredients and a nicely cooked meal was totally drowned by salt which was a shame. It may be over the top to say this is a restaurant review but ..... too much salt causes high blood pressure, which can increase the risk of heart disease, stroke, kidney failure, and other health problems - reduce the salt do your customers a favour !

Server 10/10 Walleye cakes 10/10 Tomato zucchini soup 10/10 French onion soup 10/10 6oz filet cooked to medium rare pure perfection 10/10 Blackened Chicken and veggies Parmesan pasta 10/10 Absolutely the best meal we’ve have had in years. Can’t wait to go back!!

Great servers and support workers. Loved the ambience and energy. Staff = superb. Food was plentiful and well prepared, and the dessert capped the evening. A special place, we really enjoyed our celebratory dinner at Minerva’s!

Was clean, prompt the quality of meat was not a good as it should have been. Salad bar was ok shrimp cocktail was good but expensive for 5 shrimp.

My wife’s trout dinner was poor tasting and inedible for her, she had to order the walleye instead,so got her food when everyone else was done with theirs. Our loaded baked potatoes arrived at our table cold. My New York strip was ordered rare and came to the table medium-medium well. I didn’t send it back so I didn’t have to wait and eat after everyone else had eaten. The lone bright spot was our waitress who was working only her second shift here and she did a great job trying to make things right. I would recommend dining elsewhere in Sioux Falls.
