   Beautiful restaurant, wonderful ambiance! Several things were way over salted. To the point I couldn’t eat anymore. My dad’s soup (and he’s someone who usually adds salt to his food), my lasagna and the salad croutons. My husband ordered chicken piccata and the sauce was a thick yellow cream sauce. He said it had a mayonnaise taste to it. Lovely restaurant and we will try it again for pizza.

   Consistently excellent, we had a special occasion birthday, my daughter’s 20th celebration at Mom & Dad’s. The grouper and chicken piccata were both excellent, as was the seafood and regular lasagna. Our party of 7 enjoyed the food, apps, drinks and dessert, and we always make mom & dads our go-to for special occasions. Our server was so nice to our girls it really made a special event even more special.

   The location is nice. The interior of the restaurant is clean, and the service is excellent. The food is ok. If you don't really know Italian food then you will like it; but if you are expecting great Italian food, you may be disappointed. It's not really that expensive so it's not a huge disappointment, but it's not great. I think this is a good spot for the area; but if you make it a point to go there because the expectation is high based on serious experience with Italian food; this is just below Olive Garbage level, to put it in perspective.

   One of our favorite places for decades. Last night server a little off. Ordered wine and salad and neither was served. Will be back.

   Go to Mom & Dad's periodically. We find the food generally good and the food prices reasonable. This evening the service was good overall. Our waitress (Zoe?) was good. I had the Spaghetti A La Bruzzi with meatballs which was very good. In some restaurants I find the meatballs seem a bit sawdusty (is that a word, don't know, but it is descriptive), but not here. The meatballs were very good. My wife had a shrimp and pasta dish was to her seemed a bit heavy on the garlic. The bread served with the meal was excellent. They have a good selection of wine/beer and always some interesting cocktails. I tried the pumpkin martini (had never had one) and it was excellent. A few things were disappointing about the evening - (1) we had requested a booth (Open Table reservation), but my wife was told none were available (I had dropped her off while parking the car -chivalry is not completely dead) and she was seated outside on the patio; (2) the restaurant allows animals and a group with a dog was seated a couple tables away. While all in all the dog was relatively behaved, 3 or 4 times it erupted in a spasm of barking/yelping. Not great ambience for a meal; (3) while we had indicated in the reservation request that we were celebrating a birthday (and the waitress acknowledged this), the restaurant offered nothing - no celebratory drink, no dessert. Not even a Twinkle with a candle; and (4) they had no chianti - how can an Italian restaurant not have chianti? Bottom line - we will go back again. But not for any sort of celebratory dinner and hopefully to be seated inside to avoid the menagerie.

    Wait staff was extremely considerate and accommodating for our late reservation. It was my birthday and we were behind schedule and staff was accommodating to our needs. I appreciate their kindness and warm welcoming spirits. I always enjoy my experience at M&D’s, but this was by far the BEST. Our waiter, Garrison I believe was his name, was PERFECT. He was attentive, kind, and gave great suggestions for food and drinks. He was very personable but remained professional. To the bar and kitchen staff, thank you for the delicious food and drinks. We appreciate your time and talents to make our dining experience absolutely wonderful. Thank you all again. I will be back soon!
