Honoring classic French cuisine, Mon Ami Gabi is a traditional French bistro located in the heart of Lincoln Park. Our menu features simple French food including Steak Frites, fresh seafood, exquisite bites, and French rolling wine carts. Valet is located at the corner of Lincoln Park West and Belden for $17 cash or Zelle. During the holiday season, for all parties of 9 or more, we ask our guests to call the restaurant directly to book a reservation.

Every time we enter the restaurant we feel so welcome and truly are excited to yet again enjoy a fabulous evening of delicious food, excellent and friendly service. I anticipate the perfectly chilled martini in the elegant coupe glass. We never feel rushed or forgotten. We are lucky to have Mon Ami Gabi in Chicago!

Brought my partner here for his birthday and the service was great but he was kept up the entire night with an upset stomach after having the roast chicken and profiterole. Tasted great but definitely ruined the night. Service was very kind and accommodating for my allergies though.

As always, an excellent dining experience. Lovely food and good communication with staff...very nice beef bourguignon! Miss my favorite shrimp with herbs and capers...I hope it comes back in the spring and summer menus.

Mon Ami Gabi is hands down my favorite restaurant in Chicago. I've been dining here since 2007; it's the place I choose for celebrations & for when I'm having a bad day.

It was our anniversary. We have been coming to Mon Ami Gabi since it was Un Grand Cafe and we were first dating. We love this restaurant; it is one of our traditions. We arrived early and were greeted warmly and told our table was being set up. We took a seat in the lovely lobby, and were seated at a banquette table as we had requested. Immediately, our server, Amee, brought us glasses of champagne that was sent by our son. Amme let us relax and then told us about specials. We had Fois Gras, and Frisee Salad for starters, which were excellent. For entrees my husband had the special Monk Fish and I ordered the Skatewing... both so delicious!! As a surprise, Amee brought us our favorite dessert, Profiteroles! A wonderful meal, with extraordinary service, on our anniversary, in a beautiful room. Thank you Mon Ami and Amee!
