    Came back after more than ten years and the food is still very good. The A5 wagyu and the toro are excellent as was the sparkling sake. The katsu and udon are delicious and the tamari chocolate dessert with sesame ice cream was creative and tasty. Service was attentive, informative, and efficient. All in all, a mainstay in the Philly restaurant scene that you can't go wrong with.

    Second time here and it needs to be much sooner before our third visit and beyond... The food, as expected, was exceptional; the seasonal offerings were a delight to go through and the omakase did not disappoint. Even the uni was delightful, and I've never enjoyed that any other time I've tried it. The sake offerings were great and I have a new producer to dive into after having a flight. What a wonderful way to spend an anniversary and introduce others to the experience!

    Always a great meal with great service. Loved the heartbreak hotel drink, wagyu beef on the hot stone, spicy tuna on crispy rice, wagyu beef carpaccio and leafy salad. We will be back.

    I made this reservation for my daughter’s 17th birthday. She went with 3 of her friends and she said that the food was great, with the exception of the salmon which they said wasn’t the best. She absolutely loved the atmosphere. The waiter that they had wasn’t very enthusiastic and when her brought out her birthday dessert he basically just sat it on the table and walked away. She witnessed other waiters and waitresses that were really good at other tables and she also said despite those few little instances she would definitely go back.
