   One of my favorite places in Hollywood however last night was different. We made a 10:00 reservation so that we would be there for a toast at midnight. They called and changed our reservation to 9:15 and I found out upon arrival they were planning on having everybody out of the restaurant by midnight. On NYE! The staff was generally pretty cranky as well. Not sure what's going on over there. Food was excellent as always, however.

   We never miss a trip here when in LA - this old school Hollywood haunt is still a great place to eat and see friends. The elevated comfort food is still fantastic - decent portions, get the sand dabs if you like fish and the legendary baked potato with everything is a favourite. The waiters are attentive and Frank still plays in the background - you may even be sitting in his old booth. Enjoy!

   Every time I go to Musso & Frank it's oustanding. I've never had a bad meal here. The martinis are stiff, appetizers are tantalizing, mains are the perfect temperature. It's simply a classic if you live in LA. No excuses not to come here.

   Dining at Musso's is always a thrill! The food is always wonderful, the service impeccable, the cocktails perfect, and the whole feel is just so special!

   I nice experience. The wait staff is excellent with effortless delivery of food and drink. The steaks were cooked to the desired temperature and well rested ready to enjoy.

   This hidden gem in Hollywood Blvd. If you blink you will miss it. Pass by it many times until today, wow what I been missing out all these years. The restaurant takes you back to an old Hollywood, it’s a time capsule full of memories of days gone by. Musso & Frank preserves the service and food quality traditions of the past when no cellular phone service was available. The hostess, waiter, busboy, chef all served their best. Steaks A-1, Drinks and wine A-1, ambiance A-1. Thank you, I will be back ;).

    They must have had an off night. They were, admittedly, packed. Not an empty table and a line outside. But…no matter, a steak house should be able to get the temperature right on a …steak. I ordered the filet medium, my wife medium rare. Both came red red rare, cold inside one cut. The creamed spinach is much smaller portion than before and lacked the flavor subtleties it usually has. The sautéed mushrooms tasted like par cooked mushrooms in wine, not wine sauce, wine. The mac and cheese tasted like milk. If there was cheese, you cluld have fooled me. And there was so much bread crumbs, it almost tasted like a mac and milk sandwich. I love this place but they were way way off. The manager came by and I started explaining, he said he’s be back and walked away and that’s the last we saw of him. They took my filet back to replace it but then the manager came by and said he’s throw it back on the grill, which I asked to not happen because it usually dries out. He said he promised it wouldn’t. He was right. They just barely warmed it up and it was still cold inside and raw. I would have sent them an email but they had several chances to make it right and kind of made fake attempts. So I have to take them off our preferred list. Plus it was our anniversary, which made it even more sucky.
