Pravaas - South Kensington

Pravaas’s culinary concept is to provide a journey through dishes inspired by
Chef Patron Shilpa Dandekar. Her unyielding passion for the culinary arts and
her insatiable desire to explore various kitchen styles have fuelled her quest for
diverse culinary knowledge, allowing her to create some exceptional dishes in
the menu.
The Signature dishes in the menu include Patra chaat, Lamb Galouti Kebab, Sundries Tomatoes & Red Chilli Tandoori Chicken, Venison Dalcha, Red Snapper & Palourde Moilee to name some but the entire menu is enticing.
Chef Shilpa is a force to reckon as she is much loved among the locals. Her main award is repetitive clientele who visits her restaurant for her finesse and distinctiveness.
'PRAVAAS' is very close to the Natural History Museum, Royal Albert hall, Kensington Palace.
The atmosphere is comfortable, relaxed with warm and welcoming service.

Yashin Ocean House was founded by some of London's leading experts in Japanese cuisine. Ognisko restaurant on Exhibition Road in the heart of South Kensington, is just a stone’s throw away from the Natural History Museum, Science Museum, Royal Albert Hall and London Imperial College. Housed in the beautiful Victorian home of Ognisko Polskie club the restaurant is focusing on the cuisines eastern and Central Europe. The bar is open all day serving light dishes as well as mouthwatering desserts. Ognisko’s bar serves a wide range of fruit and spice -infused vodkas, classic cocktails and a small range boutique beers from regional Polish breweries. The restaurant can sit up to 80 guests together with a terrace overlooking communal gardens seating up to 40. There is also a large events space on the first floor available for daytime conferences, weddings and corporate events.

Margaux is a modern European restaurant/wine bar. The French/Italian inspired menu includes seared foie gras, house made pork terrine, porcini risotto for appetisers and seared scallops, grilled veal rib and Barolo braised beef as some of the main courses. 100 bin wine list covers a broad range of producers and grapes, with an emphasis on old world wines. If you don"t want to stretch to a bottle there are over 25 wines by the glass and carafe. The dessert menu includes a dark chocolate plate featuring cocoa in 7 textures, passion fruit crème brûlée and amaretto sponge cake and a selection of house made ice creams. Celebrated French chef Claude Bosi launched Claude Bosi at Bibendum back in 2017, with a ground-floor seafood and oyster bar and first-floor restaurant which is ‘unashamedly fine dining’, with the chef's signature contemporary and light-hearted flair.
The a la carte menu features some of his signature classics and the chef’s Michelin-starred alma matter, with ingredients sourced predominantly from the British Isles and France. The striking upstairs dining room with its dramatic and iconic floor-to-ceiling stained glass windows has been redesigned to house a larger central open kitchen. The light and airy dining room will feature the original Conran chairs with a soft colour palate of muted blues.

Bibendum Oyster Bar

The Bibendum Oyster Bar - a local stalwart - is steered masterfully under the direction of Lyon born 2 Michelin-starred chef Claude Bosi. The large tiled foyer of the great Michelin building remains, and it’s great for a glass of fizz and a few oysters (there are always many varieties to choose from), and also perfect to stay a bit longer for a more leisurely lunch or dinner.
Expect plenty of fresh seafood; oysters, langoustine and the signature seafood platters - alongside a comprehensive yet affordable wine list.
As well as dining inside the main "house", there are seats outside in the semi-open courtyard, and also in the prime spot of streetside on Fulham Road. If it does turn a little chilly, there are also some luxury blankets…

Lovely small venue with great drinks. We ordered olives and were told they had run out. The table that arrived after us that was next to ours then ordered some about 30 mins later and got them!!
