   This place never disappoints. Been going here for 30yrs. Fresh delicious food & outstanding service. I go no other place on the Nautical Mile. Love it!

   Birthday dinner was a success. We didn't realize we hit the end of restaurant week, so my dinner came with choice of several good appetizers and dessert choices for the price the of the main course. Hubby got a 2lb lobster that wasn't even on the menu that evening, and they steamed it perfectly and delivered to the table cut so that it was so easy for him to pull the meat. We received the friendliest greeting, a happy birthday upon entering and Ronnie our server was wonderful at helping me decide what to pick from so many great options. What I also liked was that the food was not salted to death, like most restaurants do. Some may call the food tasteless, but when you get used to cutting back salt intake, you start to enjoy the "actual" taste of the food on your plate!

   We had the arugula salad with strawberries and pine nuts and chopped baked clams, both excellent. Then, we had the salmon and fish & chips. The listed sauce for the slamon was spicy so they didn't hesitate to change to a maple glaze instead. The fish was lightly breaded, not overwheming as is far too common, accompamnied by a plate full of shoestring potatoes. Yummy. Before leaving, we were informed that they have a daily priz fixe menu which includes desert for $4 more than the restaurant week choice and the menu included a few more choices. There are other specials during the week as well. This area of Freeport is dead during the winter. So many places are closed. It's nice to see a good restaurant do well under difficult circumstances. Everyone should come check them out. You won't be disappointed. We've been here before and won't hesitate to return again. A delightful and tasty lunch.

   Once again Nautilus Cafe was beyond amazing; our favorite restaurant on Long Island. My wife and I both chose the 2 lb Lobster. Best seafood hands down! Believe it or not their steak and prime rib is as good as any steakhouse in Nassau County! Great food, ambience, low noise level, and reasonable prices. Brian the owner is the nicest guy around, so its not surprising that the entire staff is friendly and attentive.

   Another fabulous meal last night at Nautilus Cafe. The setting is beautiful, overlooking the water. We eat at the bar because we always meet other familiar local people as well as meet new, interesting people. The service is impeccable, with attention to our every request. The seared tuna appetizer is our favorite and it never disappoints. Steak was delicious as well as the shrimp. We didn't have room this time for dessert, but have enjoyed them in the past. Our go to place for taking out of town guests who always rave about their experience. You will never be disappointed with lunch or dinner at the Nautilus Cafe.
