- TTimvipNew York City •14 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoAnother exceptional meal at Bestia. The pizza is what brings me in every time and it never disappoints. Apple and endive salad and Caesar are standards here and always worth sharing with the table. The chicken gizzards were a great recent add as was the duck. Both were special. And the new wine pairings (3 levels for something for everyone) elevated the entire meal.More infoBestiaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Downtown•4.7

- MMatthewLos Angeles •5 reviews4.0Dined on 3 Dec 2024I had dinner with two other people and we did the prix-fixe menu, which meant six courses (more?) served family style. Highlights were the scallop hand roll, the green salad, tteok, and of course the chicken wings (totally worth the hype!). We were pretty indifferent about the banchan, though nobody particularly liked the avocado and pear. Sea bream was good, not great. Steak was good but fatty, and not the melt-in-your-mouth kind of fat that you want to eat; this was chew-on-it-and-spit-it-out fatty. Dessert was chef’s choice, and we were brought everything but the sundae (and the sundae was what we all had read about!). All good, but nothing that will stick in my memory. I’d go back for the chicken wings, tteok, and green salad, which would make for a perfectly good dinner for one (or two, if you added another dish or two).More infoYangbanPrice: Expensive• Korean• Arts District•4.7

- SPSalPLos Angeles •4 reviews5.0Dined on 3 Jun 2023Hidden gem for Mexican food. Walking in I thought this place was a typical bar; tv screens and loud music. It was a bar, plus more! When the Micheladas arrived in large cups I knew we were in for something special. Our appetizers arrived- empanadas and tacos enchilados, they weren’t skimping on the meat. Next the molcajete filled with ceviche and the camarones pacifico, I’ve never seen shrimp that large. If your a seafood lover you’ve got to try this place. The service was good and the food packed a punch of favor. We will be coming back!!!More infoMariscos El Mazatleco Mexican RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Huntington Park / Bell / Maywood•4.5
