Best restaurants near me in Uptown, CO

I took my boyfriend here while we were visiting Denver to celebrate his 30th birthday, and I’m so happy with our experience! We enjoyed the octopus appetizer, ny strip and ribeye steaks with whipped potatoes and brussels as sides. Everything was cooked to perfection, and I’m typically not a fan of octopus but it was so tender and well executed I wanted to order a second plate of it. Steaks were perfectly cooked to medium and very flavorful. Brussels were phenomenal. Service was friendly and competent, we loved that the plates were brought out by some of the chefs who also made sure to wish my boyfriend a happy birthday. We finished the meal with an affogato with brown butter ice cream, yum! Only thing I can say is that it was rather chilly inside and we didn’t love the music, but those are easily overlooked by everything else. You’re going to spend money coming here but it’s a must for a special night in Denver!

First time dining here. It was five stars across the board. Burrata, Atlantic fluke, gnocchi were superb. Will definitely be back. Looking forward to dining at Sunday Vinyl which is another property of the Frasca Hospitality Group and is next door to Tavernetta.

I love tapas and shared plate as it provides an opportunity to try various dishes... especially when dining with a group of friends. This gem of a restaurant offers a robust, creative and delicious range of small plates including cheeses, meats, seafood and vegetarian. They also have a large creative cocktail menu. We all left the meal very pleased and looking forward to returning again.

The service was very thoughtful, friendly, and attentive and the food was excellent. Our group enjoyed everything we ordered, thought the interior redesign (from the restaurant that previously occupied the space) was beautiful, and look forward to coming back again soon!
