- RRyneAnchorage / Alaska •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWent on Christmas day and the atmosphere was amazing. The workers from the greeters to servers to the busers and the manager were all welcoming friendly and amazing to work with. The manager stopped by mid meal to make sure everything was good and it felt wonderful to be checked on by him to make sure not only are they doing good but if they can improve. Our Server was awesome he was patient friendly and worked hard to make sure we got our meals and drinks out in a timely fashion. Also had recommendations and suggestions for us to make ordering easier.More infoSimon & Seafort'sPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Anchorage•4.6
- KkevinAnchorage / Alaska •4 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoAlways a great time here. Food is amazing! We had the Calamari and Brie as apps and then the table has filet mignons, roasted duck and halibut cheeks. All of the meals were cooked perfect and they really know their sauces. Only negative thought was that it was a busy night and it was a little loud.More infoKinley's Restaurant and BarPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Anchorage•4.7

"Fresh" is the word that typically comes to mind when describing the city's dining selections. Seafood is the iconic food here, including the salmon, snow crab, shrimp, and mussels that come from the adjacent pristine waters. Although halibut tacos and reindeer sausage are local favorites, you'll have no problem finding steak covered with peppercorn sauce or equally appealing Japanese, Greek, Italian, French, and Asian specialties. Restaurants in Anchorage range from trendy cafes with award-winning java and down-to-earth eateries with pizza, pasta, and salads to steakhouses and elegant establishments with specialty beers and a 10,000-bottle wine cellar.
