GOMA Restaurant presents an elegant and contemporary menu in the heart of GOMA to hungry Gallery visitors. QAGOMA’s Executive Chef & Sous Chef have crafted set menu's that showcases the best aspects of modern Australian cuisine, complemented by a selection of Queensland and Australian wines.

What was once a rowdy sailor’s drinking den has been transformed into a civilised gastro pub complete with a separate and impressive function and convention facility that can cater for up to 200 guests. This iconic South Bank hotel was constructed in 1864 and has developed a reputation as a lamb lover’s paradise. Our classic pub style menu boasts mouth watering dishes for all dining tastes. With three distinct dining areas plus function rooms, The Ship Inn is the perfect location for casual dining, lazy alfresco lunches, functions and events. We don’t have poker machines, we don’t have TV’s and we don’t have TAB. We are a true gastro pub with a traditional atmosphere in a prime South Bank location. This was a great experience. Zander was extremely knowledgeable and made the cocktail making fun. It was great value for money and we thoroughly enjoyed the cocktails. Highly recommend this experience and ask for Zander!
