Pelican Restaurants

We have been coming to Box for many years now. It is and always has been our favourite restaurant on the Coast. The food and service is consistently good and we have never had a bad experience here. Highly recommended to all our family and friends. This restaurant is the perfect place to showcase what the Central Coast has to offer. The view and ambience are second to none. We are both Hospitality workers from Sydney originally, so understand how hard it is to run a restaurant, keep good staff and have have amazing meals coming out of the kitchen every time. Box on the Water ticks all these boxes. Not to be missed!

Four of us enjoyed shared entrees of Prawn Toast, Spring rolls and San Choi Bao. For mains we shared Fried rice, beef in oyster sauce, Honey prawns, Satay chicken and Sweet and sour pork. All meals were fresh and delicious. I particularly liked that the entrees came out one by one with great timing. The drink service was also very good, as previously this may not always have been the case. No room for desert. Although it is not a cheap option, we regularly dine here and like to introduce friends to this amazing food selection.

Most amazing coffee - usually coconut lattes can be made quite poorly, but this barista nailed it! Food was so good and service was lovely. They have so many different seating types, indoor, indoor upstairs and outdoors, so depending on what you're after there's something for everyone. Dog friendly too FYI. Will definitely be back! The best family dinner we have had for years. The food, music and friendly staff was 10 out of 10. Great value for money and such a vibe. We will be back again .
