- JjoelvipDetroit / Eastern Michigan •189 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoVery good meal recently at the Orchard. Started the evening at the Coop for Christmas cocktails before heading across the parking lot for dinner. We ate on a Wednesday, which is 1/2 off wine night. It's a great deal to enjoy a high end wine and also take one home. Service from Bree was excellent. She is spot on with her timing, but never obtrusive. Started with the Wagu meatballs with fig glaze. They were delicious. For entrees we had the chicken. Good size portion, but the paprikash sauce was a little heavy handed and the gnocchi were too dense. Also had the seafood duo. The lobster and shrimp were both very good, but the dish was overpriced. The peanut butter pretzel brownie was tasty. Live music by one of the original Herman's Hermits was excellent. Sat in front of one of the beautiful fireplaces for a relaxing evening.
