He was delightful and made sure we were well taken care of. A lovely dinner, the best clam pasta I've ever eaten and fabulous cannolli!More infoMaxi’s BistroPrice: Moderate• Bistro• University Circle•4.6

- JJillCleveland / Akron / Canton •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoAlways love spending the evening at La Dolce Vita! I think you need one of those entryway door protectors. The cold wind outside came right inside…and it was really cold! Otherwise, a beautiful night. Can’t wait to return.More infoLa Dolce Vita - ClevelandPrice: Moderate• Italian• Little Italy•4.7
- JJenniferLas Vegas •7 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe were in Cleveland to see the symphony and made last minute reservations at Valerio's in Little Italy which is super close to Severance Hall. We were seated promptly and Michael, our server, was a delight. He took excellent care of us, rattled off the specials, and made great recommendations. We ordered the swordfish and the lamb shank and both were amazing. The swordfish was perfectly grilled and delicious. The lamb shank was very tender, falling off the bone, with gravy that was to die for. Both were reasonably priced and less than what we expected to pay. We will definitely go back.More infoValerio's RistorantePrice: Expensive• Italian• Little Italy•4.9
- TTiaCleveland / Akron / Canton •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoIt was my wife's birthday (12/18/24) so to try something new we drove 1½hr to try the Haunted House Restaurant Well worth it! We had an awesome experience. Food was delicious and at a reasonable price. I had the Texas Chainsaw burger and fries while she had the Shaggy which was 2 black waffles with banana pudding and caramel sauce. Everything on the menu is named after a horror movie or Halloween related. You can look online for their menu. The decor was done in everything Horror movie related also. Pennywise, Chucky, Christmas Nightmare etc. Michael Myers was there also. At first I thought he was a statue but once he moved...scared the $#@& out of me! He does his role VERY WELL! The waitress and him even did a little birthday dance for the wife 😆 We had reservations for 4pm. We arrived exactly at 4pm and was walked to our table. After our waitress took our order it was only about 15-20 mins for our food to arrive. Parking wasn't an issue...we parked across the street at the Family Dollar store since we went there before the restaurant. We had a great time and will be back! Definitely would recommend!More infoThe Haunted House RestaurantPrice: Moderate• American• Cleveland Heights•4.3

Discover Little Italy
Little Italy is a small neighborhood of Cleveland located next to the University Hospital. The neighborhood got its name because Italian immigrants settled in the area and developed local businesses and restaurants reflecting their home cuisine. Today, just under 5 percent of local residents report Italian as their first ancestry. Local specialties include pastrami on rye, ciabatta with salami and panzanella. Little Italy is also home to the Tony Brush Park, which features a pavilion and picnic tables that are ideal for enjoying some take-out from one of the small Italian delis nearby featuring an array of cheeses, meats and veggies. There are also several casual, eat-in restaurants in the neighborhood, which feature upscale Italian and Irish cuisine. Some of the popular offerings include moscardini lessati alla Genovese and cotoletta with potatoes. Close off your meal with cinnamon scones alongside bold, dark-roasted coffee or espresso.
