- RRoySan Diego •15 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoMost incredible food. All three of us were extremely pleased and commended the chef and sous chef who was also our waiter! the only thing keeping it from A+ across the board was the noisy drainage grates folks drive over to enter the entrance/street as we were seated closest to it and it was absurdly noisy and the city should fix it. You jumped from the noice almost every time someone drove in.More infoJackie Rey's Kailua-KonaPrice: Expensive• American• Kailua-Kona•4.6
- RROBERTChicago / Illinois •42 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoMy wife and I had reservations for 5P and we made and half day visit to see the town of Kona. The town of Kona is quaint little town with great bars and shopping. We ended the at the day at the Kona Inn and had a great experience. We had the Ahi Tuna tower and it was delicious and a great value. The staff raised the sails so we could get a great view of the sunset.More infoKona Inn RestaurantPrice: Moderate• American• Kailua-Kona•4.3
- MMartinVIPHawaii •257 reviews5.0Dined on 12 Dec 2024I had the fish and chips and they are amazing. Fries were crisp and hot and the fish is ono instead of the typical cod and it’s moist and flavorful. The batter is not greasy with just the right amount of mild crunch. I’ve already written one review from one of those times. Again, it was a totally pleasant evening with delicious drinks, food, service and the setting can’t be beat. Discover Kailua-Kona
Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, is known for its white sand beaches and beautiful weather. Most days of the year are sunny and dry because it is on the leeward side of the island. This dry, sunny weather is ideal for visiting the open bars that line the streets near the beaches. Kailua-Kona's signature Kona coffee is grown locally, and early risers will see that having a cup of joe is one of the most popular things to do early in the day. The Kailua-Kona area was originally a sleepy fishing village, and seafood continues to be the most popular type of cuisine. You'll also find opportunities to attend a traditional Hawaiian luau, featuring roasted pork, pineapple and plenty of alcohol. The local specialty, Mai-Tai, and handcrafted ales are also brewed right on the island.
