Lahaina Restaurants

This restaurant is the best value for your money. It's ocean side. Our table was right next to the ocean and the view was spectacular. The service is the best and the waiters are the friendliest. The food is outstanding. I am Vegan and they are always respectful of my requests and accommodate me. I love their Greek Pita Wrap - I get it with grilled tofu and mushrooms ... it's not on the menu, but they will do for you if you are a vegetarian. And the Lilikoi sorbet is the best ever!! We were celebrating a birthday and they even brought out the sorbet with a candle on it. And they gifted the birthday girl the dessert. We LOVE Mala Ocean Tavern and eat there frequently. I will always bring mainland friends here. The view can't be beat and it's one of the few restaurants right on the water. And if you're lucky, you might see a honu (sea turtle) or two!

It was so great being back with Star Noodle! I've been visiting them from the days up in the industrial area, to the Aloha Plate location, next door, to this location now (former Freidas spot)! The food was excellent, as always! The service is always consistently good! I love the new location! It has been transformed from the cute Mexican restaurant, to the classic Star Noodle ambiance! Always love dinning on the water during sunset, paired with Star Noodles experience made it for a perfect evening! I can't wait to go again! And again! Aloha!

My family of five adults and a one year-old granddaughter enjoyed our second meal at Leilani‘s on the beach during our one week vacation on Maui. The ambience was superb as it was a nice evening with a beautiful sunset. Our server was Derek, and he was wonderful. He was attentive, friendly, and helpful. All our requests were taken care of by Derek. The food was superb again as usual. We enjoyed the calamari and Korean pork ribs as starters, and the pork ribs are very flavorful! They had a children’s menu for our one year-old, and she devoured most of the chicken and green beans. Two of us enjoyed the superb sesame crusted tuna with a tasty shiitake soy butter. One daughter enjoyed the shrimp pasta, and the other enjoyed the Alaskan King crab legs. Even though the crab legs were expensive, there was a large amount of meat within the large crab legs, and the crab meat was so tender and succulent. It was worth the price! My wife enjoyed the ribs and chicken plate. The proportions of food was generous and the timing of service between the appetizers and entrées was spot on. It was a lovely evening with a great meal and wonderful service at Leilani‘s on the beach. We look forward to our next trip to Maui so we can have dinner at Leilani‘s on the beach.

Fabulously delicious dinner! Our server recommended the opaka paka special. Both my husband and I ordered it and we both fell in love with the dish. The flavors and textures were amazing. We usually have relaxed dinner conversation but we were so mesmerized by the dish that we could only eat.

My experience at Honu was perfection. From the moment we arrived, the staff, particularly Millie our waiter and Pam, our sommelier, made us feel incredibly special. They were attentive and genuinely engaged in our dining experience. The food was nothing short of amazing; each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, the cocktail to start the evening was fantastic!! The combination of outstanding service and exquisite cuisine solidified Honu as a must-visit destination for a world class experience on Maui!
