    (1,022)
Amerigo Vespucci is one of the longest established independent restaurants on the Wharf, celebrating 30 Years serving Italian Cuisine as only true Italians do.
Minutes from the bustle and bankers of Canary Wharf is Amerigo Vespucci, offering the diner
impressive dockside views and a true taste of Italy, right in the heart of London’s financial district. The fresh and imaginative menu offers excellent choice – from simple but bursting-with-flavour pasta dishes to generous-sized meat and fish courses, while daily changing specials make the most of what’s on sale at the local market. Step inside the nautical-themed dining room or enjoy an aperitif on the large alfresco terrazzo and relax in the capable hands of the experienced and friendly waiting staff. Hot and cold starters pave the way for a fresh-food feast.
    Best Italian in the Docklands.

We’ve long loved Canary Wharf and it's rich history of the nearby Docklands and Billingsgate Market, yet Blacklock in a glass tower never quite fit. One look at an old disused warehouse nestled cosily in the corner of Canary Wharf underneath the train tracks of the North Dock and we knew we had found home. Feel the comforting rumble of trains passing overhead conjuring memories of some of our favourite haunts underneath the bridges in NYC - a place where, with the blinds rolled down and away from prying eyes, a decadent lunch can swiftly roll into dinner.

Roe is a modern and spacious restaurant in the heart of Wood Wharf from the trio behind the critically-acclaimed sister restaurant Fallow St James’s and FOWL.
The extensive a la carte menu is divided into nibbles and flatbreads, skewers and grilled options, with larger plates and sides also available. As well as championing modest, British ingredients, Roe’s dishes showcase underused and underappreciated produce. Rare breed meats and carefully sourced fish from the British Isles are central to the menu, as well as regenerative crops like Wildfarmed native grain.

    Just opened 14 Feb 2022!
Walking into Emilia’s Wood Wharf will be like entering a bustling trattoria in Italy’s Emilia Romagna region with an ambience created by natural terracotta-plastered walls bathed in natural light, rustic Iroko furniture, creamy crema marfil marble counters and hand-painted Italian tiles. Chefs making fresh pasta greet diners at the window in a special dedicated custom-made area visible from all sides. The thoughtfully designed interior cleverly combines a vibrant bar area with a custom table bocce for some competitive socialising in half the restaurant, with a cosy rustic restaurant section for more intimate moments and lingering conversations. The custom-designed kitchen and bar areas will be fully open for diners to watch the theatrics of drinks and dishes being freshly prepared. Outside, alfresco diners will enjoy views of the water and the green open spaces of Harbour Quay Gardens as well as the stunning architecture of surrounding Canary Wharf

    Hawksmoor Wood Wharf

    British

    (3,448)
Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar. Both include terraces with views across the water (squint your eyes and you might just see the ghosts of great ships laden with mighty lengths of timber that used to swing in and unload there). There's also a private dining room for up to 20 people named after the local legend Queenie Watts, a singer, songwriter, actor and self-confessed bawdy landlady (think Peggy Mitchell meets Joni Mitchell). The menu revolves around the best British produce the country has to offer with grass-fed dry-aged ethically reared beef, sustainable seafood from the South coast and some of the biggest hits from the Hawksmoor New York menu.

My girlfriend and I celebrated our anniversary at The Ivy this afternoon, and we had a lovely dining experience. We arrived slightly late but they were very welcoming and seated us promptly, and quickly made sure we were settled with water and our drink orders. We had the two-course 1917 Heritage menu, and it’s excellent value for money! My girlfriend had the halloumi to start, I had the chicken skewers, both very nice and whet our appetites. The mains were the real hit though; we both had the goose, lamb and beef ragù pappardelle. Oh my god, this was like heaven in a dish - stunning! As we dined at The Ivy on pancake day, they had their pancake day special - Crêpes Suzette! The flambé was a delight to watch, and the crêpes themselves, with the grand marnier, vanilla ice-cream, and orange sauce, were very tasty (though my girlfriend didn’t like the taste of the booze). Not to worry though, because they treated us to a free celebration dessert for our anniversary! We were so thrilled at this, and cemented our decision to make a return visit! Thank you to The Ivy in Canary Wharf for making our first anniversary one to remember ❤️
