- AAlgottCincinnati / Dayton •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWe were celebrating our 32nd anniversary. We've tried to return to Jag's for three years, but had to cancel due to last minute family issues. Last night was perfect; from our table location, the food, the atmosphere, but especially due to the very personalized and attentive server,Brady D. and Ryan R. Both men helped to make our experience momentous. We joked with Brady regarding several menu items that we hadn't seen or heard of before and he responded very jokingly and we enjoyed his responses. Ryan asked me if I'd like a drink and I responded by stating I'd like to have a Black Manhattan with Buffalo Trace. Ryan asked how'd I like it served and stated the three ways I could have it. I hadn't heard of an Up presentation and he explained what that was and I chose that style, which was excellent by the way! At the conclusion of our meal and celebration, we both agreed the experience was as near perfect as it could be. The young ladies at the front greeted us and offered congratulations on our anniversary as well as all of the servers, etc. Jag's made our special day extraordinarily special!! Thank you for our perfect evening!More infoJag's Steak & SeafoodPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• West Chester•4.9
- JJennieCincinnati / Dayton •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe food and service were amazing! The history of the building was so interesting. We did have to wait a little bit while to be seated after our reservation time. It is to be expected during the holiday season. It was crowded, so it was somewhat difficult to hear the rest of my party , but that shows how everyone was enjoying their evening. It was a memorable way to celebrate our 25th anniversary. UPDATE: Management reached out immediately and apologized for the additional wait time again. I really appreciate the customer service and quick response. It is a good choice for those special occasions.More infoCarlo & JohnnyPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Montgomery•4.8
- JJosephVIPCincinnati / Dayton •104 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoCooper’s Hawk is becoming one of our favorite mid-priced dining choices lately and today’s visit was as good as all the others. An eclectic menu offers plenty of options to satisfy just about anybody’s appetite of the moment. Service is excellent, too. The house wines, a feature of this chain, have gotten much better over recent years. Some of the dry reds especially hold their own nicely with big-name brands.More infoCooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Centerville, OHPrice: Moderate• American• Centerville•4.8
- DDeborahCincinnati / Dayton •3 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoMy 4 colleagues and I met for lunch for our annual Christmas lunch. We wanted to go to someplace new so chose Cooper's Hawk. We were promptly seated in a comfortable booth and our server was very attentive and totally on top of everything! We ordered several appetizers; the Candied Bacon and Artisan Cheese Plate was yummy (especially the 2 goat cheese offerings) and the Sweet Chili Calamari was deliciously different than any other calamari I've had (they're typically breaded, deep fried and served very crispy like onion rings) . These were huge calamari (very tender, not chewy), lightly battered, and liberally blanketed with a medium-spice sweet chili sauce and served with a Sesame-Sriracha Aioli. Highly recommended! I also ordered a cup of the Seafood Bisque which was rich, creamy and included a generous amount of crab, shrimp and lobster; I shared it with 2 colleagues who also gave it a thumbs up. Two colleagues shared a white wine flight and a red wine flight; they expected small tasting-sized glasses so were surprised when 8 almost regular-sized glasses of wine (4 white, 4 red) were brought to the table. Two other colleagues each had an individual glass of the Pinot Gris and did a refilll halfway through their meals. Our entrees were a mixed bag... my Shrimp and Scallop Risotto with peas, asparagus, corn and spinach was underwhelming; I ate about half, brought the rest home but doubt I'll finish it. One colleague had a Braised Short Rib Grilled Cheese sandwich with Fries and a side of Tomato Soup; he only ate half (too much cheese, not enough meat). One colleague had the Baked Parmesan Shrimp Scampi and said the shrimp was tough. Two other colleagues ordered the Dana's Parmesan-Crusted Chicken and both cleaned their plates. Several us of decided to split the Banofee Pie for dessert. While we were waiting, our server brought us 5 small glasses of a fruity dessert wine (didn't catch the name) and it was a delicious. The Banofee Pie was oustanding.More infoCooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Cincinnati, OHPrice: Moderate• American• Cincinnati•4.7
- ASAmySEast Tennessee •2 reviews5.0Dined on 2 Feb 2020First time going to any Red Lobster, will definitely go back again. We received a gift card over the holidays, was surprised over the amount of food for the price. My only complaint is the booth seating isn't very comfortable for plus size guests. I didn't ask about being seated somewhere else because I only saw tables for larger groups instead of 2 people.More infoRed Lobster - Richmond - National Road EastPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Oxford•4.6

Discover Oxford
While Oxford isn't always on the top of tourists' lists when visiting the Cincinnati area, it's actually a great place for food fans. For example, this college town is home to many types of American-style restaurants. These restaurants serve burgers, fried fish, and sides of various boiled vegetables. There are also ethnic restaurants that showcase the unique cultural heritage of Oxford's greater surroundings. Italian restaurants serve pasta dishes, while German restaurants focus on favorites such as sausage and schnitzel. Speaking of sausage, there are also places to try out goetta, a German breakfast sausage that is served heavily in Ohio. Other local favorites include corned beef sandwiches and fried bologna.
