- PPaigeMississippi •1 review5.0Dined on 11 Dec 2024I'm not a fan of how the tables are arranged. It feels like a cafeteria and somewhat impersonal. The sitting area in the bar is great. The food was very good except for the house salad. I assume they had a new employee doing salads that night. Steaks, Crab Claws, Tuna Tower were great. However, the stuffed Shrimp was very odd. To much stuffing and there was a loud herb/spice in the dressing mix that left an after taste.More infoMM Shapley's RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Ridgeland•4.9
Discover Madison
The friendly southern city of Madison has won many "Best of Mississippi" awards and the dining options are, no doubt, a big part of what makes this growing city so attractive. Despite the scenic surroundings, the fare in Madison is surprisingly cosmopolitan. There's plenty of comfort food, of course, but there are also plenty of menus reflective of the farm-to-table movement and less expected cuisines like Mediterranean and Japanese. Southern staples like shrimp and grits or black-eyed peas are served at buffets and bistros alike. Contemporary menus offer soul food with a twist, resulting in dishes like shrimp corn dogs. Stuffed grape leaves are a delicious departure from all the fried favorites. If you're looking for bright, simple flavors, try a Hokkaido Roll.
