- AAMvipDenver / Colorado •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoEveryone was friendly and warm! More delicious food than we could eat! If you have a chance to celebrate a birthday here, just know that you will have a blast! Couldn’t have ended our stay on a brighter note than this charming, delightful restaurant! (And try the Bananas Foster, even if you don’t especially like bananas, the sauce even just on the vanilla ice cream, the story, it’s worth it even if you end up feeding most of the banana to your dining companion. ^_^) Six star service!More infoBrennan'sPrice: Expensive• Creole• French Quarter•4.8

- BBruceNew Orleans / Louisiana •46 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWonderful experience, again! Took our visiting friend for lunch! Everything was superb! Started with the Frozen Cranberry Martini, move on to the baked oysters, split the best red fish almondaine ever and house salad with 2 great dressings! Oh forgot the puff potatoes, make sure you gobble them up when they come out warm! Had a minor mess up when the put sauce on top of seafood omelette, but corrected it immediately, and it was so light and fluffy and so full of crabmeat and shrimp! Couldn’t ask for a better experience dining at this iconic place! Back to being my go-to spot!More infoAntoine'sPrice: Expensive• Creole• French Quarter•4.6
- BBobNew York City •4 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThis is perhaps the best restaurant I have ever eaten at. It is a high end place but the value for the quality is excellent. The food was outstanding from the warm biscuits to the fabulous lobster dumplings to the Pompano fish to the bread pudding dessert. All four of us raved about our meals. The servers were wonderful. The noise level was pretty high. One server did put the entre and the dessert in front if the wrong person but that's the only possible criticism I can offer. This was an amazing dining experience.More infoGW FinsPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• French Quarter•4.9
- TThomasvipNashville •33 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoFantastic experience at Luke on Dec 9. Our wait staff was amazing and knowledgeable. Really appreciate that so much of the menu was available gluten free and the knowledge of the staff. Trout was my favorite dish while in New Orleans over 4 days. Will go back and highly recommend. Only negative was the noise. It was very loud in there.More infoLukePrice: Moderate• French• Central Business District•4.6

12 stellar special-occasion restaurants in New Orleans

Discover Thibodaux
In Thibodaux, you are going to find plenty of seafood options because the neighborhood is not that far from the Gulf. Visitors come for the atmosphere, but they stay for the Cajun and Creole dishes that they find here. One of the most popular dishes that you can find at any seafood restaurant is seafood gumbo. Shrimp etouffee, which is basically smothered shrimp over rice, is another popular dish that has a lot of flavor. Don’t forget to try out a po'boy while you are in town. Since a po'boy is basically a sandwich thrown together, you can find them with all types of seafood inside. There are also plenty of pubs, bistros, and grills in the area if you prefer those over seafood.
