- LLindseyVIPNorthern Michigan / Upper Peninsula •3 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoAs always, my experience at Spring&Porter was flawless. I’ll remain forever grateful to Chef Tommy and his amazing staff for taking the risk and opening our first and only restaurant that doesn’t make one feel lousy when you get the tab. This area is not known for its food. Pizza, burger joints abound. The few Asian inspired eatery’s are easy to forget. One and done. From the moment you enter Spring&Porter, a sense of warmth ensues. The lighting is wonderful. Soft yet not too dark. Don’t know about you all, but I love booth seating. Then there’s the bar. First of all it’s so pretty. The bartender is a true professional and is well versed in all cocktails. The wine list is well above average in interesting. And then there’s the music. Wonderful. Not too loud. The parking lot is worth mentioning as no matter where you land, it’s a short walk to the front door. I could go on and on, but this is enough for now. Next time I’ll go over each dish as I’ve had them all. Happy New Year to all. Treat yourself kindly and eat well.More infoSpring & PorterPrice: Expensive• Global, International• Petoskey•4.8
- EELIZABETHVIPDetroit / Eastern Michigan •7 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoFirst time in their “wine cellar”… perfect for small or large groups. Dinner - as always - was wonderful. Spicy tuna sushi, crab cakes, split that Caesar salad and hubby had the halibut. Everything was perfect - server was wonderful as well. - MMichelleVIPDetroit / Eastern Michigan •13 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoThis was our second visit. We were impressed both times! It’s busy, they had dealt with 2 tables of 18-20 people while we were there, and still the service was amazing. The steaks were cooked perfectly and reasonably priced for the quality. They even have their “tavern menu” available at dinner, so our adult autistic son could order his hamburger and fries and be happy as well. Great experience overall. The only minor improvement that could be made is the mashed potatoes. Kind of lackluster, and we wouldn’t order those again, though we will be back!More infoMichael's Tavern & SteakhousePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Petoskey•4.9
- CChristianNorthern Michigan / Upper Peninsula •2 reviews5.0Dined on 18 Oct 2024Wonderful! We had an outstanding server, Nashoba, who paced out our meal perfectly. The French soup was amazing and I would absolutely order the filet again. A great bonus is the pianist in the main dining room. Will absolutely be returning the next time we’re on the island!More infoCarriage House at Hotel IroquoisPrice: Expensive• American• Mackinac Island•4.7
