- NNickPortland / Oregon •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThe Ruski Zakuski experience was phenomenal, and with the addition of a cavier and a bread dish, was the perfect amount of food! We were too full for desert, but they still brought out a small frosted cookie with a candle, as it was a birthday event. Absolutely on my permanent dinner spot rotation.More infoKachkaPrice: Expensive• Eastern European• Southeast Portland•4.9

Discover Welches
On the way toward Mt. Hood from the Vancouver, British Columbia, area, Welches is the last town around with plentiful food choices. Mt. Hood Highway is the main road through town, and it offers restaurants dotted along its length. Roadside bar-and-grill spots begin to appear at the edge of town. Once in town, there’s a surprisingly good selection for a small mountain village. Along the main road, there’s sushi and other Japanese food, pizza, pub and roadhouse fare, and more. You’ll also find resort dining, cafes, and a few other options. Picnic food to go is also available for those who want to enjoy lunch in beautiful Mt. Hood National Park.
