- SstevenSan Diego •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWonderful experience at Bleu Boheme yet again. This is one of our favorite San Diego restaurants for its fabulous French cuisine, ambience, and wait staff. Week nights in particular are our favorite dining evenings. Our waitress was outstanding and paired our meals so well with a bottle of Loudenne Le Chateau Medoc 2018.More infoBleu BohemePrice: Expensive• French• Kensington•4.8
- BBenjaminSan Diego •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoOne of the shining stars in the San Diego Food Firmament. I’m a proud loyal fan since day 1 and had a wonderful belated birthday date dinner with my wife. Everything delicious as always, can never decide what to have, always want it all!More infoThe Smoking Goat RestaurantPrice: Moderate• French American• North Park•4.8
- AJAndreaJSan Diego •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoIt was a fun place to have a different date night. The 2 of us shared salad, sandwiches, and potato appetizers they were good, but the jackfruit was a bit spicy for me. We had a couple of drinks from the zero-alcohol menu. However, I think they focus on the alcohol ones, which is expected because it's a bar. We probably won't return because we dropped $102.00 and left feeling like we still needed dinner. It was a fun experience overall.More infoMOTHERSHIPPrice: Moderate• Tapas / Small Plates• North Park•4.7
- CCarolSan Diego •4 reviews4.0Dined 6 days agoOverall good experience. My pasta was bit thick and chewy for Italian pasta but sauce was delicious. The space is rather small with lots of tables so when the restaurant filled up the noise level made it difficult to carry-on a conversation at the table. Service was very friendly and professional!More infoCori Pastificio TrattoriaPrice: Moderate• Italian• North Park•4.8

Discover College Area
True to its name, the culture of the College Area in San Diego is heavily influenced by its proximity to San Diego State University. The dining options reflect the area's eclectic mix of traditional and contemporary. Local Italian eateries offer hearty and authentic dishes, and the Mexican cuisine has a fresh Baja slant. When you're looking for something beyond college student hot spots, there are more than enough upscale, modern American and French bistros to satisfy a mature palate. Start your day with a classic crepe, or pair your truffle fries with a glass of California burgundy for lunch.
