Bread was delicious and essential to make the most of the various sauces. We’ve been many times before and once again we were not disappointed. We each have our favourites like the lentils/chorizo and the Gambas al ajillo. Some new ones made it to top of the list : blue cheese croquetas, cauliflower and the baked goat’s cheese(this was a special for the day). The atmosphere was relaxed, the staff friendly and the far-reaching view beyond the lake was lovely, even in January. My friend was pleasantly surprised to find that her cottage pie had been made with chopped rather than minced beef and told me it was delicious. I really enjoyed the vegan curry, particularly the textures and it was nice to see that the ingredients were locally sourced, including some from their own kitchen gardens.
