Robinson Township Restaurants

West central Pittsburgh houses a number of iconic neighborhoods. The Robinson Township stands among them as a place of decadent eating. Local delicacies start with pierogis. Exemplary of the strong Polish heritage in the region, they and the readily available kielbasa define the area’s cuisine. American influence on that heritage has led to the invention of chipped ham and the Pittsburgh Salad (not intended for a calorie-cutting diet). Many also contend that Pittsburgh is the true home of fried zucchini. If you’re in the area and you find yourself craving sausages and fried foods, you won’t want for variety. From steakhouses and seafood to international delights, there are very few foods you won’t find represented here.
