- RRaulCorpus Christi / McAllen •3 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoRicardo and Danny were the best servers. As soon as we walked in we were greeted walked to our table. Were seated down formally. Danny suggested the best drinks. So delicious. The only thing that was not good was that my wife's steak had pieces of plastic. Brought it up to the attention of our servers and they offered us 10% discount. We'll that was not the only bad thing about the plastic found before my wife ate it by accident but no manager came to our table to apologize. The servers had to take care of the situation. Discover Mcallen
Offering a true taste of South Texas culture, McAllen is an economic and cultural center of the area and is nestled along the United States border with Mexico at the Rio Grande River. Because of its proximity to the border, authentic Mexican cuisine is a staple in McAllen, and the region's original creation, Tex-Mex food, can be found in restaurants across town. This style includes full meals or snacks called "botanas." With cattle ranches dotting the land across South Texas, it's natural to find fine steakhouses here along with Texas barbecue boasting a little Mexican flair. You'll also find seafood restaurants, American cuisine, delis, cafes, and pizzerias in McAllen.
